    1950

My dad is now 87 and watched the City from the 1940's and he's said Hudson was the best player ever to play for the City. My dad used to say the same. He didn't understand why he was sold. He played against us in the cup in 68 and destroyed us in the replay. The reception he got at Highfield...

The period between Jimmy Hill and Gordon Milne....

67 was an anti climax with Hill leaving at the start of the season but such was his affection for the club he stayed on til October I believe when Cantwell took over. We stayed with the side that got promoted and were competitive but lacked quality, it didn't help that Curtis broke his leg in...

    1950

Ronnie Rees was a lovely winger, tricky feet and a decent goalscoring record. I was disappointed when we sold him to West Brom and we never really had a winger in his mould until Ray Graydon years later. Tommy was magnificent, go on YouTube and watch the greatest player ever in a Sky Blue...

    Should drugs be legalised?

What has the state policy of the Philippines got to do with Saudi Arabia? I could respond to you in kind but frankly it achieves nothing. Just like your argument on drugs, you are pissing in the wind and have nowhere to go.

    Should drugs be legalised?

Not if the state deems it legal, which in the Philippines is the case.

    Should drugs be legalised?

Point of order. They are not murdering people, its state policy, they are eradicating drug dealers.

    Turning point today.

Hey I would embrace mediocrity as a big step up

    Should drugs be legalised?

There are things I miss about the UK and somethings that are so much better here in Saudi Arabia. Not having drunken, off their head, thugs or doped up smack heads is one of them that is much better. Living with the potential of some idiot taking offence to a glance or a comment is not missed.

    An Evening with Kevin Keegan'

An excellent idea and a brilliant choice in Kevin Keegan. The ONLY English player to be 2 time European footballer of the year and a guy with a real back story. Those attending should count themselves as fortunate, even at 55 pounds. I hope I can get back for this event.

Halftimebovril, I see what you did there.... But read again, you will see I was asking his perspective and not accusing him. In fact I would now ask you the same question? Do you advocate abuse and violence? Do you think that NOPM is helping the club you support? No offence taken.

A female's perspective on some of our fans

If you ask these guys "what they were playing at?" they would probably say "just having a bit of fun and its just banter" Oucho's wife may also have written it off as banter and high jinks but obviously she took offence and based on the info given rightly so. I wonder how much of this behavior...

What get out of jail free card? Do you mean that he wasn't thrown under the train or battered?

    The Worst Chairman

Tim Fisher is the worst chairman we have had by a long way, I don't dispute that and whilst appreciating that others may join him on the podium, notably McGinnity, Fisher's crime sheet is long and damning. Richardson, on the other hand IMO, was guilty of ambition and a desire to leave a legacy...

I dont think anybody can forget what they done but it is convenient that a winning team parks protests yet a losing team brings out the bile. Mr Kipling ad comes to mind when his daughter flashes the tattoo, sees his shock and presents him with a cake, all is now ok.
