Agreed. I think it's more of an issue in England than perhaps it is elsewhere. I recall the refereeing at the last few world cups to be far stronger in this regard, they were far more likely to wave play on.

The second goal conceded last night (which is the similar to many goals we have conceded) points to poor coaching. If the only improvement we see over the next few months is the eradication of this basic error, we will be in a better place.

Agreed. The second goal was annoying, it's something that has happened to regularly this season (though far more regularly!). An opposition player should not be able to travel that distance unchallenged, I think that was the only time it happened in the game but again it lead to a goal, so...
