Do you want to discuss boring politics?

When Jaguar merged with Land Rover certain benefits were harmonised and I lost £6,000 salary overnight per annum - I just worked a way to get it back in performance bonuses - In the end if people don't like being in the jar get out and do something else

Lower or middle management would not get overtime in JLR and I would not have expected it. Pay rises were less generally than non management - bonuses were based on largely your individual rated performance

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Maybe so but the notion I would get overtime is ridiculous. If you are in a management job you accept the pressure and the benefits and hits that come with it. It never bothered me.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Dave - I never finished at 5pm and nor did my colleagues. When I travelled abroad I gave up consecutive weekends travelling with no pay or extra holiday entitlement. I got calls when on holiday. Its normal life and not anything that is not unfamiliar to me from 1996 onwards If you have to...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

But I didn’t mind the hours as I knew it would get me ultimately a better lifestyle. It’s naive really to think any union would change white collar behaviour My first job there was more production related and I was press ganged into joining a union - I left it the minute I got out of there

I don’t hate anybody but the notion Hamer loved the club and wanted to stay is dishonest

Match Thread Sunderland - Coventry City Match Thread - Tuesday 13th May

To suggest all the manager has to do is get tactics right is a bit odd. We are also entirely beatable having lost over 30% of our games this season We also have Coco the Clown in goal and no tactics are legislating for that

I also do think if Dovin hadn’t had a freak injury we’d be ok rather than a clown or a nervous wreck in goal

Thomas in many ways is a good centre half but isnt doing prone to suicide errors Robins strange insistence on freezing Kitching out was madness - as was also wasting money on Binks
