Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

Right, I have been thro this thread and by the second page was discounting all Shmmee related content; that was just a complete rabbit hole. Along with others, just to record my thanks to Mark and Pete for sterling work and dispassionate reporting. We can all now freely apply our own...

Of course she doesn't "care" in the sense that we do, but you have to wonder why they have stuck around. They are a business.

Interesting about the new site that you have shifted from being a skeptic to more optimistic. Is this just Joy's warm words, or something more meaty to go on? I remain a skeptic, not least because of the impact it would have on WASPS letting us back to the Ricoh. They would want to milk us...

Meeting with Joy Seppala & Dave Boddy - Thursday 27th February 2020

I too am dubious they will ever build as the maths look too risky for a hedge fund. On the other hand, they have stuck around almost 15 years now, so maybe they are in for the long haul. The summation of the football position re: the Championship looks spot on. An 18k 4 sided stadium would be...

While not strictly "operating" in realistic terms transfer income is being treated as such. Doesn't that change the picture?

Or there is one waiting, Joy just has to get City back to the Championship. I can see little on going benefit to SISU from being a mid table Championship side.

    Just suppose

I have several clubs which for interests sake and for assorted reasons I keep tabs on hoping they do well. It is two tiers down from "support" as such - Alloa Athletic, Hibernian, Sheffield Wednesday and MKDons. I'd just carry on doing that.

    Jodi

This is a rash unfathomable business decision made by the club. Apart from a couple of false starts last year, the last time he played was at League 2 level over two years ago. It is completely unknown what the long term impact of the injury will be. We could be playing two tiers higher than...

Match Thread Rochdale vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 22nd Feb

Robins' great achievement in imho is to give us something positive to play for right until the end of the season. People up this thread are "bricking it" How good is that. Except for the last two games last season, we have always been in contention. Compared to the previous 10, 20, 30 seasons...

    next 3

We have had more than our share of narrow wins and draws. Got the rub of the green. Some of these could have gone the other way and some in the future could do so. We have not that many thumping victories, the two 4-1's aside. The Rotherham Sunderland Ipswich threesome is the key. We could...

    Walsh, O Hare, Dabo

None of them look Premiership level, so if we are promoted there is every chance. There could be a wages issue with Walsh. But as Kelly might struggle at the higher level, having Walsh would be handy

    Free Transfer >>> £££

It is irrelevant. At least three if not more of those were at the end of their contracts, were offered new contracts but turned them down to join us. The money issue at our level is less a matter of club to club , but more club to player, who is a free agent. In the Prem demand for quality...

    Next 3 games

The last thing we need is to be back in the Prem, grovelling around like Watford or Villa. I'd rather be winning every week in League 1
