I'm going Thursday so hope there's some left ? If I can get more than one I will. Told it's down to availability ? Be gutted if they're all gone !

    Goalkeeping over the years

On the subject of keepers all goalies have made errors. Premier League to non-league all have made clangers and cocked up, it's part of their job it seems. David James nickname was "Calamity" but the record books show him as the best ever clean sheet keeper in the Premier League. I've seen...

MK Dons - Ticket Sales Thread

I've been in touch with ticket office by email. They told me to bring my Stoke City ticket, and I'm allowed up to 4 tickets for MKDons. That was two hours ago. Told they are available on Thursday, so told them okay I'll pop in.

    Goalkeeping over the years

I'm going to write an article for Late Tackle football magazine, who I write for during the season, on Tommy Lawrence the Liverpool keeper who passed away recently. I'll try and include Arthur as he sounds like a real character. I often sneak Cov players and games in to my articles !

What are you currently listening to?

Listened to Belfast Child by Simple Minds again, first time for years. Brought back memories of seeing them perform the song in the 90's at Milton Keynes Bowl. The arena was packed but it became hushed when they started singing it and was a highlight of a great concert.

    Goalkeeping over the years

He wore a cap if I recall just like Bill Glazier did. A lot of keepers never bothered with one, but I'll always recall Glaziers red cap. If you look at old pictures of keepers in football books, many wore cloth caps !

    Goalkeeping over the years

My dad used to shout from the Spion Kop when Arthur was in goal at that end " Hide your valuables " at which those stood by us would laugh. Now I know why !

    Goalkeeping over the years

On the subject of keepers how about Les Sealey as the craziest ? And as a kid we had a goalie called Arthur Lightening who hailed from South Africa. My dad said he was a burglar ! He got done for some theft charge I think, but I reckon my dad exaggerated it a bit ?

    Radio Phone In

Every Sunday Arsenal fans hijack Five Live phone- in and moan and whinge. I wish Wenger would just call it a day as its got boring listening to it all, and with Ian Wright taking calls from Arsenal supporters keep calling him a legend etc, it makes you vomit. A season in the Championship would...

    Hartlepool

Stelling is a Hartlepool fan and well off I imagine. But I recall Port Vale fan Robbie Williams saying he wouldn't financially help out his beloved team when they were in need of money. So just because a celebrity has money, don't mean they'll help out.

    Goalkeeping over the years

We've had some great keepers over the years. Glazier, Sealey, Blyth, Westwood to name just a few. The great managers like Busby, Clough, Shankly, Ferguson, always built their sides from the back starting with a keeper. Emphasis these days seems to go with a striker first when a manager is given...

    Mark Robins Plea

As a bloke aged 63 and although still reasonably fit and in decent health, I keep going to matches because I love football and my football club, but let's face it I don't know how many years I've got before I pop my clogs. So if I stopped going I'd be sitting around wasting precious time and...

    Mark Robins Plea

I find older City fans like myself tend to just keep on going to matches, and leave the off field stuff to the younger supporters ? Obviously we all want SISU gone but won't let them or anybody else stop us from watching a club we've been following for decades. I get more stubborn and just say...
