    Price Of Concert Tickets

Another bloke came on the radio and said Axle Rose was good. I've seen ACDC a few times but my mate saw them with Bon Scott and winds me up saying unless you've seen the original line up you ain't seen ACDC !

    Price Of Concert Tickets

Many commented they'd rather go and see a tribute band at a fiver in the pub. One bloke said he'd watched an ACDC tribute recently, and he reckons they're better than the last ACDC line up with Axle Rose singing !

    Price Of Concert Tickets

On a phone in on Five Live they were discussing the prices to see bands today. Touts etc were raking in the money with extortionate rates to see a favourite group/act, and just like for sporting events many just can't afford to go to concerts anymore. But it did ask the question what band would...

Any Robert Palmer fans ? Another charity shop gem for a quid, the Very Best Of Robert Palmer. He died far too young, I liked him in the Power Station got an album on vinyl of them. Also picked up a CD of hits of Leonard Cohen performed by other artists like Nick Cave, Ian McCulloch, Katie Melua...

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

With a large crowd of kids plus health and safety I think 28,000 will be the limit ? Those walking up on the day to pay at turnstiles will be stuck in long queues, and many may get turned away ?

£5 tickets for Accrington - Community Day

Been to ticket office today to pick up some tickets for Saturday. One of them told me the crowd is going to be about 28,000. I see Notts County had a similar day and charged £2.00 and it was their biggest crowd for about fifty years. We all love a bargain !

    Swans vs county

Swansea were ruthless tonight. County are near the top of League Two, but other than a brief period in the game looked like The Dog And Duck from a pub league. If we play like we did at FGR at Brighton I dread to think of the scoreline !

    Swans vs county

Shows the gulf between Premier and League Two. When a top flight side is on form like Swansea were tonight, a lower league side look completely out of their depth. Brighton if they take our tie seriously should also beat us easily too. We do raise our games against better opposition, as was...

Age Is All In The Mind ?

The world's oldest woman several years back who was French, died aged I think it was 109 was asked what she did to get to that age ? It was revealed she drank wine every day, stopped smoking in her nineties, and ate anything she fancied, and hated exercise. WTF !

Age Is All In The Mind ?

I've been reading about how the brain is not the mind, they are different. I never knew that till recently I thought both were the same. In fact experts say where the mind is located is a mystery. Whatever it is it is powerful without doubt. Back to the age thing one of my customers passed away...

Age Is All In The Mind ?

Good points there. I know people who abuse their bodies and drink and smoke heavy, but are still around. Then I know others who have looked after themselves and popped off fairly young. Yet I do believe the mind or brain is powerful and is capable of unbelievable things. I find it all interesting...

Age Is All In The Mind ?

The actor Bill Roache has said that he has "thought" himself young. He is aged 85 and in the paper today he states that he is actually getting younger. He believes in the power of the mind etc and says anybody can live a long life if they think properly. Got to admit he does look well for his...

Fifth Round... / Brighton Ticket Details

The price of the train down has put me off. There's a boxing show at Willenhall Club that day and my mate an ex boxer can get tickets for that. Might go there instead ? It'll probably be packed out with Cov fans !

Been listening to Planet Rock today and they played Itchycoo Park by The Small Faces. It sent me back to the 60's and it still sounds fresh and sharp. A feel good record indeed.

    Celebrating A Goal

My son is a runner when the City score a goal. He sprints along the terracing if room allows, then comes back and shakes my hand. I've never asked why he does it just let him get on with it.

    Celebrating A Goal

I've gone all typically British as I've got older, and now shake hands with mates and those around me. Yet when I was younger I would jump about as if I'd received a huge electrical shock !

    SIX NATIONS.

I fancied England to get 50 or more points so nearly there. But Italy played well especially second half, and have improved a lot. Hope England get stronger as the tournament progresses ?
