It takes a good number of players to get through a season. Last year we used 4 or more strikers. Why would we get rid of an asset we know we are likely to need, who's a known quantity, and wouldn't be able to replace for less money?
Have to admit I have a good feeling about this one... he came in to his own at the end of the season as he got fitter I feel like he can kick on and pitch in nicely.
Have to say it is getting a bit out of hand I'm used to the usual muppets but struggling to get to real opinions without some boring prick sending the thread off on a tangent cause they think it makes them clever... they must have dull lives.
Everyone was bitching and moaning last year we had nothing on the bench and were having to use injured players or players that can't score. The club sort it out and we still aren't happy. I trust Robins won't overspend so don't care what the wages are.
Think I would take the same position as this year. In my opinion we over achieved so a similar position with some clever player trading setting up for future success.
If you look at the amount accrued in interest at circa £2m and the bonus structure at £700k I don't think they are all that bad... although next year will be worse...
