How many L1 managers would like Madine, Jackson, Tudgay & Nouble in their Squad?

If you just consider there track record prior to joining us in the summer, I would say a lot. If you consider there time in the last few months here, I would say a few/some.

    Cause and effect

No other way round, we dominated the last hour in Pressleys mind. We dominated the ball but Fleetwood were comfortable defending for the most part.

90% had never been to a Wasps match before I think in the region of 60-70% lived within 10 miles of the Ricoh 40-45% lived within 5 miles of the Ricoh Can't remember the exact figure but I think it was something like that, Nick Eastwood mentioned it before the match.

    Wasps Sub Forum

Wrong, there wasn't loads of Wasps supporters. 90% of people today hadn't been to a Wasps match within the last 5 years which is a fact.

They are practicing for next years annual streaking competition at the Ricoh.

Who is responsible for the maintence of the Ricoh Arena?

Repainting it gold and black? Jokes, lets not start that.

Super Sunday - Welcome to Wasps

That's all well and good for people who can afford it but I doubt a family of 4 could afford 2 sets of season tickets. Similar to CCFC, every fan in Coventry gained by Wasps is potentially a fan lost for CRFC and CCFC.

    New Stadium Announcement

Agreed, where as a Ricoh rental deal with not enough revenues and would probably complete the metamorphosis to Bradford City over the last 10 years. tbh I can't see anyway in which we return to that level from the current situation.

    Get up there

Take into account pitiful away support, Fleetwood bought about 80 fans where as Walsall bought about 600-700? So we increased the match day tickets for home fans by about 3.4k to 6.5k, tbh even if it is less profitable I think its a hit SISU need to take if they ever want to try and rebuild the...

    Christmas truce?

Mike you're one of the better posters even if I don't always agree with you. Some on here just come on here to deliberately antagonise and I doubt they will stop.

    Would you go?

I like your thinking outside the box about the club buying things around the Ricoh but how many people can fit in the Rowleys Green Social, it would certainly have to be expanded and devloped for it to be worthwhile? I know I'd certainly use it if I knew my money was going to the football.
  12. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Would you go?

Neither could I, if such a deal as I described is available then the club should absolutely try to do it. Seeing as the Higgs 50% of ACL was sold for 2.7 million, I'd imagine the cost to buy into these things would be much less than this and much less than building a new stadium. You think...

    Would you go?

I agree getting a good deal at the Ricoh would be better than a new stadium, can it happen now though? What would you consider a good deal? For me it would be something like. A nominal rent something like 50k, includes matchday, a set number of non match days and somewhere to sell merchandise...

I wouldn't even be angry at them if they did hit us with bricks, at least they would be fighting for their club. If they were anything like our fans they'd be rolling out the red carpet and harping on about how great it is for the town that a professional football club was going to be playing there.
  16. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Would you go?

Well the move greatly diminished our chances to ever get a stake in the Ricoh, whether that would be SISU controlled or under different ownership, which in turn means we will be a L1 club for an indefinite period as we don't have enough fans to support a championship club on ticket income alone.

    Would you go?

You don't care about them yet you continually defend them. No I'm obsessed with CCFC with how the Wasps move affects us, others clearly just don't give a shit and have given up.
