Tom Billson gone to sCUNThorpe on season long loan, I wonder if there's any chance of us bringing in a real goalkeeper in the next week or so!

Gary Thompson's departure started an exodus of biblical proportions. Well for a football club anyway 😉

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

I'm sure youd welcome Christiano Ronaldo here, and he's 36! Cranie wouldn't need pace, his positioning and reading of the game is first class. I'd bring him in until January, and then have another attempt to sign Ostigard if he's not playing regularly for Brighton.

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Cranie would definitely be worth a contract till christmas, if only to cover our covid victims, his versatility and experience would be a huge advantage, I'd be happy to have him on the bench at least. I'd rather have his proven quality than some spotty teenage no mark from Chelsea's under...

    Coventry City Transfer Disappointments

Stuart Pearce, we virtually gave him to Forest! Ian Wallace was a bitter blow, but at least we got decent money. Aaron Gunnarson was another I'd of liked to keep, Terry Gibson, Dion Dublin, Gary Gillespie, Kevin Gallagher, Phil Babb, there's bloody loads!

    Jamie Allen

I think he needs to move on to find regular first team game time. He was ok for us, but he's no O'hare, and Bright or Jones could cover his place in the squad. And lord knows we could use the saved wages elsewhere.

He was very good tbf, But comparing one former player with no league experience to a potential new one means nothing. I mean it’s as relevant as me saying “what about Bouwe Bosma”. It would mean absolutely nothing. This season we are in the unique position of having no one available at LWB so...

Yes of course 2 seasons at Swansea and ready for the next step up. For every Guehi there are numerous failures, what we need now is at least 2 quality defenders, taking a punt on a kid with little quality cover could leave us in the shit.

Yea, I said yesterday that one may have to go, we need at least 3 quality players in, and time is running out now. It needs to be a busy week if we are going to be competitive against Forrest. I'm backing MR to pull something good out of the hat.

Cant see his wages being an issue as he's currently without a club, and very few championship clubs are throwing cash around. Getting a contract and some game time is probably his priority. And I watch a rediculous amount of football, which is why I just cant get my head around some of the...

Doesnt matter shmmeee, all that's important is hes on Chelsea's books, therefore we must get him in on loan. Dont even try to talk common sence on here today!

I'd suggest he's better than what we currently have. And way better than any of the teenage nobodies that have been named as loan targets. I'm beginning to wonder if there's some sexual chemistry going on between one or two forum members on here and young teenage boys from Chelsea!

We are talking about adding proven quality and experience, I dont care if that's a loan or permanent as long as it's an improvement over what we already have. I've yet to hear any serious loan suggestion that's better than Rose, Hyam or Pask. Remember when we signed Pask from west ham, and...

Good question (at last) I'd sign Tom Lees hes available on a free, wages should be well within our budget, and he has bags of experience at this level, he has been club captain and is a proper leader and mouth piece on the field.
