Perhaps i'am a thick old gezzer but the invovlement of the council (Nuneaton and Bedworth) was our mayor trying to raise funds for a local charity.

As far as know it was People in Action nothing to do with Wasps and Grendel can take the piss if he likes but if Wasps managed to interest just a handfull of kids that handfull are probably lost to CCFC.It is far easier to lose fan than gain them.
