Well we used to have a whole team of Gary Breens so surely it isn't out of the question.

    Another rant on defending corners

Simms always goes back to defend corners.

    Relegation fodder

How will you take it if Austin is appointed DoF and he gets to choose who replaces him as Head of Recruitment. NB As of April 2022, Austin was studying on the FA's technical director course.

Not good vibes about Wilson's recovery progress on Cov Tel story. Apparantly not yet back on grass.:(

    Relegation fodder

It did seem strange he was shipped out for the whole season when the only other cover at right back is Lati. I guess it was a shape up now or say goodbye to CCFC message. Was this a Robins call.

Yep, he wasn't really playing as a midfielder in a 433, he was often a lot more advanced than the other 2 but that may have been a tactical decision. I think Torp is more disciplined.

As I said, unless you're involved it's impossible to know how it works & anyway the structure is evolving.

I never said he did, I just think Lampard isn't Austin's manager and won't be initiating any decision about his position. As I understand it Lampard will communicate his squad needs to Austin who'll go out and try to satisfy them but there will also be financial issues and budgets that King &...

Yep but Austin came in 2 months before King took over and started restructuring the club.

    Calm down

One saving grace that helps us is that although we've been picking up injuries as we go along we enter this hard period of the season with an almost intact squad Allen & Bidwell just got back in contention, Wilson and Raphael must be very close to a return (or start in the case of Rapha) and...

Sky seem to have introduced software that deliberately blurs any frozen screen. Was it always like that?

I don't think it is in the head coach's remit to hire & fire the head of recruitment. The structure at present is more like below but only those there will know how they interact & DK was on about creating a Director of Sport at some point who would presumably sit between DK & the other senior...

I think Lampard should start Lati at RB and bring on MVE in the second half.

    Ryan Howley

I can't see Howley coming back, I think he'll be looking towards league 2 or national league sides for a job next season. Shame though.
