Average age of today’s starting 11

When we play a good team like Portsmouth or Sunderland it is a good benchmark to see how far we have to go. When we play Shrewsbury or Walsall it should tell us where we are. Luton were very good and had that promotion feel about them, Charlton were okay and were beaten by a better side on the...

The Juventus one is fantastic. What a club. The Bobby Robson one is very good and insightful about the workings of top clubs and players.

    Trust response to Tim Fisher

I have no agenda other than to support my club in their city. I am not a member of the trust and would be disappointed if they were coming out with statements that have not been approved by their members, so if the trust have a mandate to call out Fisher and agree that signing the communique is...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Charlton Athletic Match Thread - Wednesday 26th Dec

Are you for real? He kept plugging away, didn't hide, made mistakes yes but still powered forward. That is first class body language. He had some of the crowd on his back but was prepared to put himself in the line of fire and got his rewards.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Charlton Athletic Match Thread - Wednesday 26th Dec

A hard working performance! Hyam and Willis stood out for me and Sterling made some excellent runs, as did Mason especially in the first half. Kelly was very influential and good movement up front meant that the Charlton defenders had a difficult afternoon. I really think that the Bayliss...

    Rank this season's shockers

In my opinion we were outclassed by a good side against Luton. Sometimes you just have to take it on the chin. We could have got a point on Saturday but that performance flagged up many more issues than the Luton game. For me the attack was non existent as part of the team and nothing stuck...

    Coventry's best ever manager?

Decent yes but best? never in my opinion. Cant argue with highest league position though!

I can see why the trust would want to it a caveat in but agree it is unhelpful. On the Dale Evans thing I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise and on the Trust issue it changes nothing in the big picture. It is coming to a time when they will have to show...

Nick, if that was the case you would have put up all the quotes to prove your point. Re the Dale Evans scenario I couldn't believe the bile aimed at him without evidence and felt that time would tell whether he was the saviour or a naughty boy and it turned out he was a fantasist.

I agree that the most likely route is Wasps revisiting their stance. I believe that Wasps are the key and unlocking that door is the question that needs to be addressed.

Probably for goodwill reasons and to allow them to put the "reasonable" ultimatum on the table. I must admit I took it seriously.

Wasps stated that the ultimatum was final and non negotiable. Why do you think that was wasn't the case?

Because there wasn't an ultimatum like this season

I would like to do something rather than just critic Agreed but why leave it to others? I think it's time to step up.

I don't see why the trust is being vilified for doing something to change the situation we are in yet the rest are applauded for keeping the status quo. If things stay as they are we don't have a ground. Doing nothing is not an option in my opinion. Club or no club in future I would want to go...

    Coventry's best ever manager?

Me too but can't agree with you. Cantwell had a tough first two years avoiding relegation and a low scoring last couple of years. His good year was built around away form(we lost loads of home games.) Milne was a good manager as was Sillett and I would add Robins to that list.
