    Match Thread Rotherham Match Thread!

For all those of you who had a dream last night I can top you all with my nocturnal fantasy. I dreamt that we were involved in a top of the table clash at St Andrews in Birmingham. I woke up in a sweat and then laughed.... I will be watching from Riyadh on ifollow then looking forward to...

The Best Thing About St Andrews

Equal opportunities employer I see! I must admit I enjoyed that game even though we lost. A throwback game, a real edge and if ever a one on one was needed it was that night and our little fella obliged!!!

It may do if you treat it with insecticide.

If we are winning then no, if we are losing then hell yes, call it off. Can't be to careful after all...

    What are Rotherham thinking

So what you are saying is that we could win, could lose or could most likely draw? I can see how you could come to that conclusion.

Fans who just stay in the bar.....

I am not a drinker and my match day experience is not enhanced/tainted by the bonhomie of a bar. I have been to the Roost on a couple of occasions and found it a positive vibe far removed from the Coventry match day scene. What I don't understand is why you would go to a football match to stay...

    A call to Arms !!!

Beating Rochdale and Southend is great but standing toe to toe with the great sides in history like Leeds United, Liverpool and Manchester United as an equal was also fantastic and winning the FA Cup trumps a Checkatrade trophy. That said this is the here and now and without the play off win we...

    A call to Arms !!!

Principles? Go to games in Birmingham- part of the solution Don't go- part of the problem I am sure if you lived in Small Heath and supported Coventry City you wouldn't want to be watching us play at St Andrews over the Ricoh.

    A call to Arms !!!

I beg to differ but statistically you are correct. Bubble appearing over my head: what about 69-70? What about 87?

    Dion visits Coventry

Yes. It made no difference if he had joined any of the teams in the top flight. He was looking after his family and future. We basically pushed Dennis Mortimer to Villa Park against his wishes, bought Ray Graydon and had Steve Hunt so it was not as though trading between the clubs was unheard of.

    Serious question: why Villa though?

    Dion visits Coventry

Thank you! Curtis had his top level career curtailed early on at Forest so wasn't" able prove himself in the top flight. Roy Barry was sublime until leg brake and my favorite, Holton was past his best but if you look at the stats he played more for us than any team he played for, was part of a...

    Dion visits Coventry

It's about opinions but a championship Scott Dann and an under rated Peter Atherton? I would have put Andy Pearce and Atherton in my Peter Hindley and Alan Dugdale file. Dann? Decent but no Dublin in my estimation. Roy Barry prior to his leg break was the best for me on reflection but probably...

Kindly put a name forward who was better than Dion as a center back during his 4 years with us. I am struggling olderskyblue, I can make a case for Babb just before him and Trevor Peake earlier and Jeff Blockley but other than those who compares to Dion as a center back?

Lucky to have him during his peak years, true legend.

    Just suppose

Probably get a Leicester season ticket and enjoy the upgrade without the emotional investment. It's the hope(thanks Nick) that kills you.

    Training Ground

Then let's hope Tony Cottee and Ian Wright never join us in any capacity....
