    Everyone happy in defeat?

Yeah, I was surprised at the Sheff hook as he was still looking a threat but I'd forgotten about the yellow. Ref was an utter twonk today.

Dont bother with a loan player

It was posted on here the other day and someone txtd it into CWR. I think it's bull, but hey ho. Quite simply, the vast majority of the money is owed to SISU. Why on earth would they put themselves in a position where they wave goodbye to the most of it? I know they're just losing more money by...

    Everyone happy in defeat?

Agreed in terms of strengths and aerial ability, but I did think that Cranie passed the ball and moved it at pace superbly in the first half.

    RATINGS FOLKS v West Ham

We've had this debate a million times. Some people seem to think that long ball=results and passing=defeats. Well Adams and Boothroyd proved that isn't the case, as have Swansea, Blackpool, Norwich and WBA when getting promoted from this division. If you want to do it the Stoke way, you need one...

    RATINGS FOLKS v West Ham

Platt gave the ball away 3 times 2nd half with hospital passes. He was good first half but faded, possibly due to lack of fitness. But I don't really think Cody would have offered much more..maybe it was worth chucking him on for Platt for the last 10. I'm not sure where the negativity on Juke...

    Everyone happy in defeat?

Christie was absolutely shot. Sammy always turned and passed down the left instead for much of the 2nd half as he knew Cyrus was struggling. The final straw was the ball to him that he attempted to trap and it just dribbled off his foot for a WH throw. If anything, he should have brought Wood on...

I thought it was pretty good-he hit the edge of the 6 yard box constantly, it's just that the two huge WH defenders headed them clear above our attackers. Any one could have led to a goal.

I would have expected a tad more hyperbole after Hussey's showing today. He was absolute mint; if he didn't have an option to pass to, he skinned Faubert-a 7.5m signing I believe-every single time, and rained in some fantastic crosses. He also defended really well. It was pretty much the...

    Six points away from safety

A large part of that is the opposition having the tools on the bench to make a difference and an adjustment. Burnley brought Austin on and went to two up front-it changed the game. WH brought on Carlton Cole-a striker who still has England ambitions-pushed Kevin Nolan into a more forwards...

    Michael Brown

Still sounding like Wise though, isn't it?

About 4? Mostly by taking too long when he had the ball to make a decision, and he isn't great at tracking the man in his own half. I don't think he plays the role as well as Gael, I'm not an obsessive Gael fan-boy..and hang on, I gave Connor a 7! He did some good stuff, I wasn't having a go!

Beg to differ on this one; Gael was superb, closing down at pace all over the pitch, played some fantastic passes, movement was immense and speed of thought fantastic. Yes he got tacled a few times when trying to work some magic in tight situations, he faded a bit 2nd half (1st game in weeks so...

Aye, I'll be going for my usual 3-time watch minimum. I see Southend won again-I'm getting quite a soft spot for them, success on a shoestring and all that. I wonder if Ryan Hall will delight me again? And will Freddy go home next season when they get promoted?

    RATINGS FOLKS v West Ham

He did some really good things-some great passes and a great tackle- but gave the ball away a fair few times as well. He also fails to attack the space in front of him or make forward runs off the ball. He didn't help Cyrus enough 2nd half or close down the WH LB, who had all the time in the...

    RATINGS FOLKS v West Ham

Agreed, it was a quality cameo performance. Back to his dribbling best, and one deflected ball near the end almost fell for him in the same position as the Derby goal. I often think he's most effective as an impact sub.

    even sky........

I thought it was deflected off the WH player, onto Cyrus, onto Murphy, post and in. It hit an elbow in there somewhere, but I'm not sure whose. It was pinball, so unlucky.

    Six points away from safety

But we're playing Cardiff on Tuesday..... The only hope I can offer is that it is very rare that 3 teams get cut adrift to the extent that the bottom 3 in November all go down come the end of the season. One of us, Donny or Bristol C will probably turn it around. The question to ask is: which...

    Michael Brown

Would give us the ballwinner we're lacking. Connor can do it but his positioning and know-how are lacking;something Brown has in spades. Makes you wonder if we may as well have just kept Doyle. I really hate Brown..but then, I hated Wise before we signed him. Hmmm...
