    From the Boardroom (Luton)

Surely no one Council or others could be expected to guarantee a team plays at a ground for any amount of years especially as this team said there were moving on and building their own ground . To do a deal like that everything would have to be drawn up legally and there was no mention at the...

I couldn't care less if they watch Wasps if they like rugby why not but I am glad they saw fit to put money into my club to help keep it going . I think it would be nice if many more turned up spent money on our club . There are plenty of people who watch both sports but don't want to or...

He still manages to do a great job for us . Bring him back as soon as possible Mr Robins his own game sometimes suffers trying to keep the younger players concentration levels, great captain.

I think Wasps will stick to their guns this time the longer J R 2 goes on the more it will cost them in legal fee's money our owners will have no intension of paying they will just do a liquidation . I also cannot see why although their not talking we could not make a realistic offer to try...

Never said it was ,Tesco probably gain most around the Ricoh but the city itself not so sure. People tend to go watch the game and head home not all I know..Having a 1st division club may create some income for the City but millions?

You might be better versed as to how the millions stacks up I see few fans anywhere other than the Ricoh . There probably are more but millions?

Every turn our owners make cost the Council ( the ratepayers of Coventry) precious money . If I was a citizen of Coventry and not a city fan I wouldn't be bothered whether they got anymore years at the Ricoh or not.

Thanks oldskyblues 58. So how I read it the Council and AEHC have already lost out twice with A C L when Sisu liquidated us so as not to pay the rent . The settlement for J R 1 will leave them short . The J R 2 will sure as hell leave them short . The law is definitely an ass.

Not being well versed in the legal side of things could someone please tell me the first J R has been completed has it not? Has any side been awarded costs to cover their legal expenses . If so I would presume that would be C C C is there a time limit for payment if so how long and what action...

    Appeal Dismissed

Surely the security and future of any business lies in the hands of their owners and the way they conduct themselves doing it . Another company has not got to put up with just anything you put in the way of them carrying out their business . I think Wasps have been very tolerant (not a Wasps...

Duffer I don't know the ins and outs of your council but if they had told the truth (which council rarely do) that finances at A C L were not great people would want a deal at any cost just to stop the drain on finances . SISU have never to my knowledge put in a realistic bid . They wanted it...

    Appeal Dismissed

Not when It was started. Even if they were they were never going to make a realist bid . The council gave them plenty of chance to make one many times before . One excuse was we have to spend the money getting the team right first .A fine job they did of that.

You may be a council tax payer but even if every city supporter came from Coventry (which thy don't by a long way) that is only 1 in every 30 and if I was 1 of the other 29 I would not want my council hanging around waiting for a team playing 35 miles away to come back and buy the stadium...

Grendel Sisu had a fresh start they didn't have to take the previous contract on they could have walked away nobody held a gun to their head .So it was Ken Taylor who sold us to Sisu was it? Major shareholder? Sisu are where they are because THEY f..ked up.

    Would you go?

That's up to them for me Coventry means Coventry not Nuneaton or Bedworth or anywhere else.

They sold the club because it would have been a drain on finances had they not done so. "The millions they paid in rent and revenues over the years " when Sisu came they had chance to renegotiate the terms they didn't do it their fault the contract was agreed and the way they ended the deal...

The answer to your first question is yes. Even if Wasps did relent and talk Sisu would set conditions before talks began even though they are in a weak position it would soon bring and end to talks. As for plan b they would try and Sue them what grounds I don't know but there again I cannot...

    Would you go?

Back to the question no I would not "Coventry City" says it all I didn't go to Northampton and I certainly would not go to Nuneaton.
