I did think we lost some of our edge today when Palmer went off. I really enjoy watching him play. The technique mixed in with the ability to mix it up physically.

Statistically a lot less young people drink heavily or at all. Not saying its all down to no advertisement but I'm sure it's a part of it. Just because you can't break the cycle for some doesn't mean you shouldn't for the next generation.

I don't see why we wouldn't offer him a new contract. May not accept it but worth a shot. I wouldn't go outside what we can realistically afford in case he got injured as others have said. If he gets a decent prem offer in he will go of course.
