Can you name all the managers

Carsley had a few games between Robins and Pressley, Coleman I'm pretty sure was sacked on the final day of one season so had no temporary manager. We had a caretaker when Dowie was sacked but can't remember who it was.

If the club really wanted to show its intent

True but Rowett left them in third so hardly poor, Jimmy Floyd inherited a good team, high on confidence. Totally different kettle of fish to come in here and turn around us around and he still has a lot to prove as a manager.

If the club really wanted to show its intent

His Falkirk contract was due to expire summer 2015 from what I can find, so had over 2 years left when we got him. Not sure how much compo was paid.

If the club really wanted to show its intent

I'm guessing your comment about Burton your talking Jimmy Floyd? He's had a terrific start but its only 16 games, how much of what he's achieving is down to the work of Gary Rowett? I'd prefer we went for someone who either has been shown to bring stability to a club and build over 2/3 years or...

If the club really wanted to show its intent

    They tried that with Pressley

    So who do we want?

Don't really rate him as a manger.

    So who do we want?

Yea had no idea who he was until I looked him up, done a poor job at Exeter around 15 years. Has been coaching England youth teams from 2007 and 2009-2104 he was the U19 manager, was appointed coach at Blackpool in June 2014 and left them in December 2014.

    Pressleys been sacked

    I'm guessing it meant bullet?

    Pressleys been sacked

    Asking him to reinstate Pressley?

    So who do we want?

Maybe so, conference is an extremely hard league to get out of though as Luton found out.

    Pressleys been sacked

Waggott has had 70 calls and 50 e-mails regards the manager position since the news broke this morning, did I hear that right?

    Pressleys been sacked

Someone asked him about what Black was like in his time and Sheff said he was decent manager.
  13. SkyBlue_Bear83

    So who do we want?

Would we want to go back after he walked out on his once? Would he want to come back, we're in a worse position than when he left?

    So who do we want?

I don't really rate him as a manager tbh, L1 could be his level though.

    Pressleys been sacked

Poole and Turner on the CET saying the decision stinks, they really are something else.

    So who do we want?

Tough to say without knowing circumstances, his record looks very good at Wrexham. They've only gone downhill since he left, I think at this moment the jump is too big but I wouldn't write him off as a crap manager and will continue to keep one eye on him.

    So who do we want?

Flitcroft actually did a brilliant job initially at Barnsley, came in and kept them up after they looked doomed with a fantastic run of form to see them safe. Went pear shaped the next season though admittedly.

    Jones goes back

As I said in another thread, I wouldn't be surprised to see him return after the dust settles from the sacking.

    Darren Ferguson

Not that bizarre, he struck gold in Mclean and Mckail Smith who pretty much got them the back to back promotion. Look at the table in 10/11. 75 goals conceded when they were promoted it's crazy. He was found out at Preston and over the last 18 months at Peterborough where he actually has to...

    So who do we want?

Looks to have a great non league record, not sure what his aim was at Wrexham but they seem to be worse off now he has left and how come he ended up dropping to conference north after his time at Wrexham? Probably too big a step up at this time.
