I know fitness is the main purpose of these friendlies but I am concerned we seem to have very little flair, creativity, pace or genuine goal threat in the team. Hoping Coulibaly will give us some pace on the flanks but we still need a striker with pace, a big striker and possibly another winger.

Call me a doom merchant but I'm quite sceptical about whether Tudgay will sign. I don't know if anyone saw the interview the Telegraph did with him in Italy but it sounded to me like he had very few options and was coming here to get fit.

Pressley's comments on this are really worrying. I actually thought he may be given a small amount of the Wilson money but this pretty much confirms he won't.

Couldnt agree more. I think most people acknowledge off the field he is an absolute class act and really appreciates his time as time as a footballer. On the field I think some of our fans don't give him enough credit. Yes he can be inconsistent and frustrating but he will come close to hitting...

As other people have said he almost seems too good to be true. Scores different types of goals and was top goalscorer in the SPL 2 years ago. Always make me question why Championship clubs aren't interested.

This may be covered on another thread but there were rumours from Barnsley supporters on twitter that Baker was at their game yesterday. A fanzine page is now speculating that he could be set sign for them tomorrow. I have heard a couple of our supporters say he was just on scouting mission for...

Striker been linked with us in todays People. 30 year old striker. Did well in Scotland and currently playing in Holland. Dont know too much about him but his goalscoring record is surprisingly decent.

Dont think there is any suggestion of him being on trial.

I think we are going to be a lot tighter at the back this season but we still need a bit more pace and flair in the team. Cant see many goals coming from the current midfield.

Anyone noticed how the statement was originally signed off by Tim Fisher and Joy Seppalla. Seems to have been altered to now just say Tim Fisher. Seems Seppalla may be distancing herself from the statement! Also it has now been shunted right off the homepage completely by admittedly tonights...

Baker was meant to start the 2nd half according to Kieran Crowley but apparently pulled up in training yesterday.

Is Kelly-Evans from the youth team? It does concern me slightly that Pressley sees Willis as a right back and Clarke as a centre back. Far better the other way round. Charles Cook not starting for the Borough. Expect him to play the 2nd half though.

Would have thought this would have been a longer deal. Especially with him going to Nuneaton on loan.

Striker on trial been offered a contract. Formerly of Sheff Utd. According to Andy Turner.

Formerly with a Premier League club most recently a championship club. Might be Danny Pugh as another thread suggests. Although think hes more of a midfielder these days.
