    Boxing Tonight Channel 5

A nice change to be able to watch some decent boxing on the telly instead of Sky or BT etc. Hughie Fury v Chris Norrad heavyweight bout. Plus other fights. Should be worth watching ?

What are you currently listening to?

I don't like the stuff Rod Stewart does these days, but he pops up as a guest singer on early tracks by Jeff Beck and other rock acts, and what a rock voice he had. Well impressed, worth checking out if anyone only knows his new music.

They're a cross between ACDC and The Slaves. I'm a rock fan but never heard of them. I'm going to listen to more now.

I’ve been watching countdown over the last few days

Blockbusters was great with Bob Holness. Think he passed away ? The big myth about Holness was that he played the Sax on Gerry Raffertys Baker Street. He never.

I collect memorabilia Football, boxing, and music stuff. Last week in local charity shop bought a mug for 70 pence, it's the Beatles walking across the zebra crossing from the Abbey Road album? I put it on Facebook, as it's an iconic scene. Well chuffed but need the album next !

What are you currently listening to?

2 cds from charity shop on Saturday 90 pence each. Nine Lives by Aerosmith and Around The Sun by REM. Both some years old but some great tracks on both albums. Aerosmith in their early days were a hard rock band before they went a bit of a pop group.

My mate has paid £300.00 for 2 tickets to see Status Quo and Skynrrd at the NEC this June. So 2 quid is a snip !

    Tee Total

In the 80's me and 2 mates would be in the pub every night, first in and last out. I got up for work some mornings with a hangover but worked it off. We carried on like that for years, but gradually eased up until it was just weekends. That would kill me now, and to be honest I don't miss it at...

    Royal Team Talk

Yes he came across well. But hard to sympathise with Henry over his handball cheating, it was blatant !

    Royal Team Talk

I watched half of it. Interesting conversations going on. I like Crouch comes across as a funny bloke, and Danny Rose seems a really serious chap. Hopefully the programme has a positive effect on mental health, as we've all suffered with it in our lives.

    Harry Roberts Cop Killer

The programme I watched was interesting. He was an ex soldier so used those skills when on the run. A young lad on a walk in a wood/forest stumbled upon him in a tent. He was going to shoot him but discovered he was a bit simple, so got him to get him food etc, and even took him on a robbery...

    Harry Roberts Cop Killer

Yes it was Davies sports shop. Wasn't that near Riddys?

    Harry Roberts Cop Killer

The one I was quoting was at the sports shop by where Riddys Army&Navy store was. A bloke broke in to steal a rifle/gun but was stopped by a copper, who he shot dead ? It was a big story.
