    Robings - how long left?

In the cold light of day I understand that Robins is under the microscope but I believe he is the right man with some of the wrong tools to do the job. It is just not the time for faint hearts or finger pointing in my opinion.

    Robings - how long left?

So two promotions, a cup and you still use that a stick to beat Robins with.

    Gustavo Hamer

It’s not a like for like comparison, Walsh was creative in league 1 but unproven in the Championship and by all accounts Sheaf was decent for Doncaster but the step up is proving tough for Sheaf and I don’t think Kelly’s injuries have helped him. Both goals last night just needed a boot out of...

We have done what we tend to do; be good on the ball until the final third and then it all breaks down. I am hoping that we have enough to grab a point but I have seen enough of Sheaf, the 15 million pound man Hamer and Cameo Giles to surmise that these guys will always flatter to deceive.

    George Hudson passed away

It may seem a strange move but Northampton were a year more advanced in their ascendancy than we were. Hill was proven right as Gould did well and we were promoted as the Cobblers went down, all the way down. Never has an away player been given the reception The HUD got on his return with...

    January transfer window

I would expect that the management will risk assess the threat of relegation and may decide to hold any transfers until the summer and reevaluate then. I believe that would be the sensible thing to do until we know if the Covid situation is resolved and income streams are revived. If the threat...

No he didn’t, it was Lynex that was the architect of that Leicester win and Lineker was deadly as he gained a stellar reputation. As we had beaten Luton 4-2 away and Liverpool 4-0 in the previous games it was a chastening experience on the pitch and the good old days off the pitch.

    Festive fixture memories

We won the Boro game 3-0. The Norwich game was special for me because of the Wallace overhead kick which remains my Favorite goal and the Blyth penalty save. The Liverpool game in 67 was freezing cold and I was on the kop as well, which was populated with a group of Liverpool fans under the...

Robins is the manager and it is clear he sees Sam as a better option than Giles. I agree. To say Sam has been poor is wrong in my opinion but I would like to see Giles forward of him on the pitch.
