The 2nd goal is calamitous. Dabo gives away a free kick in a dangerous position then just ambles back, not even facing the play, they take it quickly & Hyam just allows the striker to turn inside & shoot. That's definitely on the players, switching off like that is inexcusable.

He just is poor with the ball at this level unfortunately. He did some good stuff too though & it also relies on Hamer doing his job properly as well. It's fairly commonplace for Hamer to lose defensive discipline & press too high up, naively getting sucked in trying to nick the ball & leaving...

In fairness he did say someone like Bright. That's exactly the situation he should be coming on in but alas it seems he doesn't want to know.

Walker was excellent. Even when our patterns of play broke up & we went long he won a lot in the air & held it up well. What more do you want from him in that situation?

Was thinking exactly that. Probably a confidence/mentality thing. At home we are relentless & overwhelm teams with our intensity.
