It’s a strange situation we have but it works. We have a midfielder that is so good in his defensive work that it allows our defenders to indulge their attacking instincts.

We need to sell or release Wilson so we stop people pining over a below average keeper. Rushworth has made a couple of errors but if you can’t see the confidence he inspires in the defence then you’re blind. He’ll come good and this post will look stupid.

I’m pleased he’s showing his quality which he always seemed to have but it fits and starts. The only remaining question with him is durability, hope his injuries are behind him.

There should be a way of throwing in the towel. They get to avoid more pain, we get to avoid any injuries, their fans get to get home early, ours can get a couple of early pints in and I can go to bed.
