Match Thread Cardiff - Home - wednesday the 15th

To be fair as you mentioned in the past ten/twenty years we have been poor relations so I take it as a sign we are on the rise and are beating such teams.

Match Thread Cardiff - Home - wednesday the 15th

No we havent had a history that they would dream about. That’s the arrogance we accuse such teams of. Our history consists of 34 years in the top flight and one FA cup and a checkatrade trophy. Hardly Wilf Mannion, Brian Clough, Graeme Souness, a UEFA cup final, a league cup win in 2004, finals...

it certainly seems to be beyond the club. Like yourself I am supportive of the club and understand that issues arise but for Hill to be still in this situation so far into the season is beyond reasonable. in my world there would be a car waiting for Hill at seven to pick him up and then his dad...

Match Thread Cardiff - Home - wednesday the 15th

whilst not disagreeing I think that the game will revolve around how well we impose our play on Cardiff. Let them worry about us.

Why? Didn’t Forest get a first half goal? Didn’t do them any good. I will settle for a 97th minute winner.

    Match Thread Boro' Match Thread

What I have seen so far this season is a team that is fighting for each other, win or lose and deserves all the praise that is coming their way. Something is stirring, this team is competItive

In my time Neil Martin was special in the air, Ferguson was very good, Speedie superb for his size, Regis was great Dion was the best IMO and a special mention for Colin Stein, David Cross and John Hartson.

    Kelly injury update

As much as I admire Kelly it would be prudent to keep the same pair against Boro and if they play well retain their places in the team. If they have a blip then Kelly is ready to join the battles ahead.

Their antics actually kept us up and relegated them.

    ITV4 tomorrow (thurs. 2nd Sept)

That was a Willie Carr goal in a 2-1 win and a rare Larry Lloyd goal. If you would have said to me that he would go on to win the league and European cups at that point you would have been taken to the asylum.

    Robins on Gyokeres

yes it is down to the players on the pitch and as for apologising it’s a preposterous thought process. A manager is there to make decisions and by and large our manager gets it right more than most.

    Robins on Gyokeres

I don’t understand your reasoning, it’s the managers call but up to the players who came on to deliver.

To be fair many on here agreed we were awful at Loftus Road. That’s not arrogance just realism.

    Missing : Bright

Very good, a bit of time cherry picking there. I like that. However as I said I admire your filing system and your determination to be proven right. Evans was shown to be a chancer, you and some of your chums had reached your conclusion without any evidence other than the court of Grendel. At a...

    Missing : Bright

Well well Grendel, digging in to your files I see. To recap I believe that you are making this up, what I said was time will tell if Evans was a chancer but until then he should be listened to, show me otherwise, a bit like Bright really. i like to look on the bright side of life rather than be...

    Missing : Bright

Every alley for Grendel is a blind one at the moment. I do admire his determination to see an argument through to its death. Luther Blissett and Geoff Thomas may have not been the best to represent England but both had fine careers and were chosen by very good managers at club and country.
