Where did it all go wrong (my musings)...

please explain how - £60m is sustainable in any league - How throwing money at it would not have put the debt up even further - How we could have got further finance considering that SISU are here because the club couldnt finance the £60m in the first place - why is it certain we would have...

    Hoffman to make offical bid

I dont think we should get hung up on dates and times. There is a lot to sort out in this and contract negotiations can often extend beyond deadlines. What GH is doing is making an offer it is not the agreed deal. Hard I know but I think we need to have a little patience.

Yes Godiva - dont think it is a closed door but perhaps some doors are more open than others. Many things are possible including SISU staying and owning the stadium, my own opinion is that is unlikely

Not all fans are thick, Ken Dulux !

yes you are pretty much right jan but they have had to do that for years. Most detail we will be likely to get will be the total paid to directors and the amount paid to the highest paid director in terms of salary. If the money paid to a third party company for a director as in case of RR then...

Dont think the council said they would never sell to SISU what they said is they wouldnt sell to the Club until such time as the owners who ever they are could prove that the books were in order and that they had a viable, sustainable and profitable business. That applies to any owner of CCFC...

could be cloughie but it is quite normal in a private (not quoted) company for the remaining shareholders to approve any new shareholders coming in. ACL own the long lease on the ground Paxman it is shown in their accounts together with the fact that the ACL bank loans are secured on all...

that said les _miserables the long term future of the club depends very much on obtaining greater income streams from stadium ownership

    Brody

Personally I think the rest of the Board and SISU have told him that they dont find his twitter etc activities helpful right now and to keep a low profile.

have checked the ACL accounts Godiva they appear to have the same rights, there is a specific note about it

    The arena

Legally any company is a seperate legal entity. technically its called the "veil of incorporation" ACL is therefore a legal entity in its own right, any contracts it enters into are legally ACL's, any assets it has belong to the company any liabilities are the companys to pay. ACL is...

no problems gally9. The shares issued in ACL are divided equally in to 2 sets A shares and B shares. The council own the A shares and Higgs trust the B shares. I think both have the same rights so think it was done to reflect a joint venture between the two organisations

    The arena

crowsnest - the option that is on offer is to purchase the interest The Higgs Trust has in ACL. That interest is the B shares in ACL which owns the long lease and represents 50% of the issued share capital. There are other ways to do it but the premise has always been that the club buys the...

    The arena

But as far as we know there is no golden share and Clouting also said that the council can veto any deal. Think they would give control of ACL to SISU or CCFC ? The results would already be reflected to some degree in the SB S & L accounts because ACL would be associated company even with 50%...

    How many do we need?

with everyone fit probably 2 players - a forward and an attacking creative midfielder. Dont think AT needs massive amounts of funds to do that The key to it all isnt the signing on fees but the wages to be paid - that will be the same for SISU, GH or any one else

    The arena

it works if the intention is to buy the whole soon afterwards.......... it is a step to something else and at a cheaper fixed price for the 50% currently sought

    The arena

sorry guys we wont see any money coming into the club because we own 50% of the shares. And it is the shares that are on offer not the 50% of the long leasehold. Shares give a right to dividends but ACL cannot pay dividends because the company has losses and to pay dividends would be illegal...

    SISU Irrationality

Chap the whole purpose of the SISU deal was to invest for a short to medium term then sell it on - its how they make their money for clients. Of course a takeover is relevant its what they do If you were not seeking to justify SISU's position why bring up their original takeover at all, it has...

    Hoffman to make offical bid

They could ring fence the debt yes Senior Vick but I think the premise is that the loan is written off so wouldnt need to be serviced. Frankly I cannot see a total write off happening and there will need to be some settlement or ring fencing in any agreement
