Nice gesture but meaningless unless someone can rid them of their charlatan owner. Loaning players won’t help, they can’t register anybody.

    Bury

Sadly, unless Bury can get a new, credible, owner who is prepared to pay Dale a ridiculous amount for doing nothing at all then that’s their only scenario I fear. Completely different to us where a phoenix club shouldn’t even be up for discussion.

Confirmed Ins and Outs 2019/2020 Summer

That’s how FIFA do it too in fairness but a very different ratings system & different guidelines etc. I would anticipate lots of change for FIFA 20 ratings.

In what way are SISU not 'fit & proper' though? They are hugely unpopular (and rightly so) but they have not reneged on their obligations to play in the Football League & clearly have the funding to do so. Clubs cannot self sustain at our level, the gap between PL finances & the rest is too...

    Pre Match Conference - Gillingham

I think from Robins’ “don’t really want to mess around with the team too much at the moment” comment he’ll be sub unless Jobello doesn’t make it.

Who knows, not been paying players/staff or maintenance on training ground. Such a convoluted mess. More I read it sure seems like an asset strip; “Court papers reveal that Dale, who bought the crisis-stricken League One club for £1 in December 2018, said he was owed £3.68m last month, while a...

You can’t stop them buying but you can restrict their ability to play in the Football League. He goes on to talk about it being an ongoing process, each year proving they have the ability to fund the club & fulfil their obligations. I don’t believe Steve Dale ever even passed the existing...

    Bury

It’s a fair point & I totally agree that in their current guise they are powerless. As a governing body they aren’t fit for purpose. They should be run by a combination of proper business & football people. What they CAN do is have a meaningful “Fit & Proper Owners Test” & failure results in...

    Bury

Quite. Finances in English football do need a massive shake up with funds redistributed to EFL clubs (and below) more fairly, but in this instance they’d just be handing money over to an asset stripping conman who’d walk away with the cash. Worth noting that Man City gave free use of their old...

Transfer Rumour Incoming - Callum O'Hare - Season Loan

He's under 24 & (reportedly)been offered a new deal. Assuming it's on better terms than his current deal, which seems inevitable, then Villa will be entitled to compensation.

Transfer Rumour Incoming - Callum O'Hare - Season Loan

Of course, but if they rate him as highly as they clearly do, that would be substantial too.

Transfer Rumour Incoming - Callum O'Hare - Season Loan

Nice thoughts but if, as reported, he's been offered a deal but not signed, Villa will be entitled to compensation which, given his burgeoning reputation, will likely be pretty substantial.

    3rd Player

Agreed, he was excellent. Interestingly he was linked with Championship clubs after exercising a release clause at Dundee where he was POTY. Bit of a coup then for Southend & it was his header that was well saved by Marosi. Jobello needs games, that is obvious, but he definitely has pace &...

Bristol City email to other clubs re non-head injury pauses in play

Only concern here is remember Luke Thomas v Peterborough away when he was booted full in the face & ref incredibly didn't stop play (nevermind awarding the most blatant penalty ever)? Could have been very nasty.
