    Ipswich v Fleetwood

On the flip side; he's obviously a very divisive character but Joey Barton has done a superb job at Fleetwood.

Dabo & Walsh are the best players in the division for their respective positions, should be certs.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Sunderland Match Thread - Sunday 1st Mar

Re: Kelly - definitely not been at his best lately but, although we have other midfielders, nobody else quite does the same role. Hopefully with a slightly lighter schedule now coming up, he'll be back to his usual standards.

Yep, similar. Stone wall penalty, both arms extended into Kelly's back else he'd have had an almost unchallenged header. Difficult for the ref to see & linesmen don't like making those (or any!) decisions. Infuriating at the time, thankfully we were good enough anyway.

    League One Forums

It's impossible to blow every team away with the slick football we usually excel at for various reasons. Pitches aren't great this time of year, players getting tired are 2 factors but more times it's because opposition deliberately set out to prevent us doing it - as with today & vs Rotherham...

Good results. Got to capitalise by avoiding defeat tomorrow, the win would be exceptional!

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Sunderland Match Thread - Sunday 1st Mar

The match in which Fleetwood's goal was (almost literally) miles offside (admittedly the assistant rather than the ref) & also missed at least 1 stonewall penalty for handball.

    Old Accounts Thread

Exactly. MR has spoken very positively & respectfully of SISU & Joy in particular on recent occasions, so much so that one member of the Trust board didn't like the narrative being different to their ingrained agenda & lambasted him with: "He would be well advised to stick to footballing...

    Now or then?

Agree with this. Can be dominated by big, powerful centre forwards too, that's where McFadz is a class above. That said, I think Willis would work well in the 3, especially adding that extra pace. in fact I thought he was at his best on the right of the back 3 with Reda & Ricketts for that...

    Dodgy ref

Definitely wasn't booked which surprised me. If it was a foul (debatable) then it's a clear yellow card offence. Just sums up the ref tbf.

Massive win. Gutted about Rotherham's late winner but let's take care of them ourselves on Tuesday.

    Dion visits Coventry

As my avatar probably gives it away, Dion is my favourite all time player & childhood hero. Richardson is guilty of forcing him out to an extent too.

    Trust Statement

They've only been posted in last few days, I chased CJ on Twitter about it. Curiously I notice there are some missing - April, May, June, September. Not had time to read through but from what Pete says there's little of interest?

    Wolves v Leicester

Impossible to tell definitively when it's played yet they're analysing positions to the millimetre with technology that isn't capable of doing it. The margin for error is apparently 14-20cm! VAR is killing the game.
