Surely the coaches would have been taking direction from Robins on tactics? And the same will be true whoever comes in.
There's no point trying to completely change how the team is playing for one game, when the new manager will have his own ideas anyway.
I get that you're angry but a lot of...
Because he’s a caretaker than will only be in charge for one game? Better to stick with what we know for now and then once we get a perm appointment in they can work on their own style.
You’re just hitting out at everything right now.
He better be injured. Dropping him for Collins would be stupid.
Maybe Carr fancies this as his big opportunity to go bold with selection and take the plaudits if it pays off. Would rather he just stuck with what we’ve been doing.
I don’t want Lampard but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.
I’d hate to be known as “Frank Lampards Coventry”, but it would give us exposure.
I think his style is generally more aggressive/attacking than Robins’ which probably suits the squad.
Our pool of potential managers is about a hundred times bigger than United’s. Much harder to predict.
Either way, the betting odds mean nothing. They’re just a reflection of the money in the market.
Because unless you're there on a daily basis you're just getting someone else's opinion, who's likely biased and probably disgruntled themselves if they're talking shite about squad members to someone external.
Some of them have been correct on some things yes.
But knowing who we're signing or letting go etc. is very different from claiming to know the personalities of players. One is a fact, the other is just one person's opinion.
