CCFC: Keogh to join contract talks

Yeah, we won't have to sell anyone else until relegation to L2 is confirmed!!!

Can you help? I need the CCFC accounts for 1962,3,4,5.

And one of the cast is from Coventry! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_Lowe Wonder if she's a fan..maybe she could get Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan to buy us? They must be pretty loaded by now. Coogan could do the matchday announcements as Alan Partridge-then we'd be "Bouncing Back"! It's...

Great spot, I missed that! I love that show so much, and virtually everything that everyone who was in it has done since! Okay. Some memorable lines, amongst many: "She was like a candle in the wind...unreliable" and the legendary "We tried every position imaginable-on top, doggy, and normal". :D

Clarke - Im definatly staying here

This is particularly funny, as he's utter crap! The very idea of him stroking a football into the net would have Leeds fans hysterical! Much as it would for us and, oh I dunno, ROD I guess...although even he managed that lst pre-season.

    Richard Keogh

He's as good at either RB or CB, but started almost every game at CB. And you won't find a CB in the whole of TFL who can dribble past men for fun like Keogh can! The first minute he missed in the past 2 seasons was when he got a red card in the penultimate game of the season just gone. So, you...

Why oh why the Mass Hysteria!

So, unless we get bought by a Chinese billionaire who has probably in reality never even heard of CCFC, we will-assuming we hold onto the youngsters-probably have this (I think Wood will go too): Cyrus will have to cover CB & LB with Phillips another RB option. Although I still don't think...

Why oh why the Mass Hysteria!

No, he means the poster named Astute, not as in "You, Sir, are being most astute!" Although I'd say that although Astute was more tolerant of SISU maybe a year ago, the fact that he feels the way he does now adds even more weight to his sentiments. It suggests that people who gave them a...

    Time For Cody & Platt

Yeah, and when we sell Cody, are you gonna bump this thread again?

Clarke - Im definatly staying here

You paint a pretty picture, but we all know we can't finish...our form will be streaky at best. There's no glossing over it.

    How does this work

It helps a bit, and you seem totally genuine. I'd take a stab at you being Mark Noon, but I thought he still lived in Leam! Talking of which-it'd be nice to make more of the links with Nuneaton: they are playing at a very high level next season, would be ideal for a loan spell for our...

Football Manager 2012 [CCFC Special Add-on pack]

Nice one OP, I made a joke about this in a post a few days ago, that's the kinda challenge they have to set if 'tis gonna be realistic!

I make it 7 signings needed if we want the same threadbare squad from last season

Just don't make it into another Thorn debate, puh-lease!

    Some statements from SISU tomorrow

Where did you hear that they are making a statement tomorrow? Or do you think the Platt situation is big enough of an issue for Joy to host a personal press conference at The Ricoh? :o

Mutton wants to meet the Chinese

Mutton meets Chinese? What, some sort of curry-based dish best eaten on Sunday lunchtime?!?
  15. Nonleagueherewecome

    How does this work

I wish I could share your optimism pb, but then I guess you are basing your opinion on knowledge I don't have. Can you elaborate at all on what the "Chinese team" have been up to? So far, we only know that there is a rich Chinese man who might potentially possibly be a "good fit" for the club...

I make it 7 signings needed if we want the same threadbare squad from last season

I had to check that nub was a word, and it means what I thought. It does, and what's more, it's Lower-Middle-German in origin. Interesting, eh?

I make it 7 signings needed if we want the same threadbare squad from last season

And there's the nub of the matter. Essentially...we are totally screwed!

    clive platt

I can only assume that SISU have gambled all the money they have spare (or the money they refuse to pay in rent ;)) on us getting relegated. The odds will be great this year, especially now, and it makes more sense to me than any other strategy I can see: they certainly have more chance of...
