    Wasps downward spiral...

To be honest, if I had a bit more time I could probably count the number of people at the ground. There can't be more than 100 scattered behind the goal, huge gaps everywhere other than in the corporate bit. 3000 would be a stretch, I'd think 2000 at the very most.

    Just ordered new car..........

I'm already looking forward to the handbrake-turn, burn-outs and doughnut videos, HH. Have you figured out where you'll fit the 50-inch sub-woofer yet? 😁

If I was a copper stuck there, bored out of my brains, by now I'd have had the irresistible urge to sneak up behind that lot and pop a balloon behind them. This is probably why I'm not a copper. 🙂

Teams you have an irrational hate for

Millwall. For the endless racist bollocks associated with a large part of their support. Not sure if that's irrational but either way, they won't care. Also, MK Dons. Like Wasps, simply should never have been allowed to happen...

    4th Round draw

Not easy, but winnable I'd say. I'm happy with that as a draw. If we're going to win the cup we'll have to beat a premiership team or two on the way. 🙂

Deserved it too, but the attendance was dismal for a game against their top of the table 'rivals'.

    Wasps downward spiral...

Not many behind the goal, less than a third full I'd say, similarly in main side stand. Nothing at all behind the other goal. I'd guess 12-14k for *the* local derby (so Wasps would claim anyway). Half of those there sound like Leicester fans. So for their biggest draw in the calendar, they're...

Prices going down would be deflation. It's far more likely that inflation would just stabilise at a lower level, deflation isn't something that generally happens. As I understand it, the inflation we're seeing at the moment is supply side (cost-push I think it's called), driven by rising energy...

We're nowhere near the levels of vaccination required to protect the country yet. The disease doesn't just impact the very old or the infirm so just having high levels of vaccination there isn't particularly relevant. Unless there's high take up across the board, transmission will still be...

I'm sorry mate, but the science absolutely is on my side. People have a bigger chance of catching it and transmitting it if they aren't vaccinated, even if you're a famous tennis player - that's why the rule is in place. It's given that if you want to reduce the transmission and effect of a...

In fairness mate, if they're going to pay the people at the top well over 100k (and sometimes much, much more), then there isn't going to be much left for guys like you doing actual, meaningful work... https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/top-coventry-council-bosses-paid-20335636

It's his prerogative to avoid vaccination, and it's Australia's to say that if you're not vaccinated without good reason (i.e. a valid medical reason), then you can't come in. That's because the science behind vaccination reducing potential transmission, hospitalisation, and death, is...

Just in the spirit of full disclosure, I did a bit more research last night, and I can see that one of the companies associated with the proposed new benefactor had a six digit turnover in its last accounts. However, it still doesn't look like the kind of business that could just throw 250k at...

So after no more than 30 minutes research, I've got a bad feeling about this. I had a quick look through Mr Taylor's records on Companies House and I can't find anything that suggests any of his businesses would have these kinds of funds available. I can however see that he took out a loan for...

Fair play or stop being a tit?

There's absolutely no reason for it apart from appearance. Bluntly, it's mutilation and these people that you know are profiting from a cruel and entirely unnecessary practice. They clearly don't care about animal welfare and they may well be breaking the law too...

Fair play or stop being a tit?

Hate to be brutal, but anyone who buys a dog with cropped ears is a thoughtless prick, at least in my book. It's both cruel and ridiculous. I should add that I haven't watched the video of Maddison and his millions, but as long as he's paying the right amount of tax on it I guess it's up to...
