Thanks buddy, despite putting on 7lbs during LD I’m getting plenty quicker. Possibly some weight in muscle as well as beer. I ran Top to bottom of course . Cow Lees down to the houses. Tried to find an all downhill mile and it’s close. I could’ve done with starting by sole end business park.

Well happy with today’s effort. Best mile before lockdown was over 7:00 I think and I had never done less than 4:10/km.

Generally it was widely acknowledged that Burge was shit during his whole time with us. It’s not because he’s a former sky blue that people are slagging him. I also don’t understand the hatred towards Sunderland. Not really a rival are they.

I love the grouping and component level too. After 1 day on it I’m happy I can do planning drawings and technical details. I just need one job to do for real before my free trial expires so I can justify the expense for Layout. If I can do 2 jobs a year it will pay for itself. As I said...

I’m on sketchup. Getting on really well with it so far. Just need to decide if I’ll make a go at it as the software costs £300 a year, which I’ll need to pay if I want to do plans proper.

I’m learning a 3D programme. Hoping to get into doing planning drawings for extensions and the like. If anyone is thinking about an extension I can offer to do the plans for free for a one off whilst I learn the process.

Put a cap on and get out. I usually find a cap makes a huge difference in the rain.

Try picking less hills and less sharp corners. They just slow you right down.
