I will be disappointed if we don’t bring in better than Kitch for the left centre back. Maybe a quick left back will help compensate for Kitchs lack of pace but fundamentally he’s a solid championship defender but no better.

He let Ballard ( his man ) have a free header at goal in the last minute …it proved fatal.

He was a liability in his first season, didn’t really play until Xmas this season and had a solid second half to the season until his fatal error in the last minute of the semi. It’s hardly the stuff of dreams is it.

Oh let’s be fair Kitching has so far under performed for the fee we paid. He certainly improved under Frank but over 2 seasons he’s been disappointing. That said it should have no impact on our assessment of any future player from Barnsley.

Was he injured last season ? He didn’t feature much after Xmas and they played a central midfielder at right back for the run in.

Moore didn’t have a fantastic season … he was OK. Given his wages and loan fee our fans would have gone ballistic with his relatively modest contribution.

I enjoyed part 2 much more than part 1. Adi very skilled at only saying what he planned to say in the first place but seemed a genuine football guy.

I think naturally being comfortable with the ball at your feet is a requirement for a modern Defender who needs to be able to play out from the back. When you put a left footer on the right side you start to undermine your ability to play out to the full backs as they always look to play...

Don’t come on here with logical answers like that …. Fans want work rate and aggression combined with slow turning circles and errant passing …
