I’m still not sold on JDS or his fellow Bristol C man, Palmer. JDS is a liability on defence and we’ve conceded many goals down that left side when he’s played. Palmer offers little and should be offloaded at the next opportunity.

Wright out and Simms in is one change Is make. Lati could come in, but not sure who I’d swap out. I’m torn about keeping an unchanged team that just won, but feel that if there any tired legs they may need a little rest.

Something about him being a good addition for us in the Jan window and how he’s come up quickly from the lower leagues. Haven’t watched him play though.

I think Whittaker is miles better than Wright. Scored a very good long range goal yesterday and looks much more accomplished. Would have cost us less and probably gotten us more points/wins by now. Sigh

I was merely speaking for myself with regard to my opinion of Wright who I have said appears to be lazy at times or not trying hard enough. I wasn't trying explain the lazy tag for everyone on the list.

Many of us, including myself, have been guilty of calling Wright lazy on occasion. Although I recognize he's black, the things about Wright that really get on my nerve are the facts that he: 1) Often times gives away the ball cheaply and makes a token attempt to win it back or no effort at all...

If Millwall think highly of Wright and are willing to give us at least half of what we paid for him in the January window, I’ll snap their hands off for it. I really can’t see him ever becoming good for us. I can even see Simms turning a corner sometime in the next decade.

Too early to say that. Need consistent performances and results before we can conclusively say that today’s result is the norm and not the exception.
