    THIS Gyokeres...

An inspired signing. Wasn’t 100% sure of him last year - showed potential but didn’t fully click. We don’t get to see how he performs in training so it was difficult to see the full picture. I’ll say it again, there’s a concern about how we’d do if he gets injured / suspended. On a positive...

We need to sign Conor Coventry. We just do.

We’re missing Dabo. Kane ok but his final ball and sense of how our team plays is lacking.

    Oh Captain My Captain

Just a thought, if during the winter transfer window we are in around the play offs, would we be able to put in a fee bid for Osti? Could we get him back on loan for the second half of the season like Matty James? Anyone know if his loan has a break clause or if we could sign him on a perm? I...

Jose Perdomo. What a player I thought he was (I was a really young kid when he joined and was gutted to learn he wasn’t staying. My big Sisters ex boyfriends dad was the club photographer at the time and told me he’d cleared his locker out. I was totally devastated). We’ve had a habit of signing...

I guess the first four aren’t European. Gunnar is a good shout - one that if we’d have managed to keep might have made a big difference.

Thought we’d signed him from Wolves but was completely wrong. There.

Had really high hopes for Kasta. I remember when he first got into the team and smacked in a worldie. Mind you, I had high hopes for Ellery Cairo back in the day. I’m trying to think of how many good players from the continent that we’ve signed (ie direct from the continental leagues (Normann...

I hope our natural progression is that we don’t have to sell off good prospects to similar potential teams like Norwich for 3m. If we had have held him, what would he be worth now?

    Bright and Robins

If you read the next line it goes on to say how Strachan mentored him and put him on the straight and narrow. At the time Whelan joined Strachan was 38 y/o asst manager / player, ie, someone who could be seen as a mentor / role model in the Doyle style. I’m comfortable in my beliefs that in...

    Bright and Robins

Bright has talent but his head (allegedly) screwed on wrong. Shipley seems to have lost his mojo. We’ve had many players who have bags of talent but for whatever reason their heads go daft and we end up wasting fortunes. Kyle Eastwood Whelan In the latter case Strachan went out of his way to...

Strange world, football. I’m going to ramble for a bit: These players are young adults, often away from home. I mean, there’s loads of blokes who still live with their parents at 30 these days because they can’t get on the mortgage ladder; young men seem to remain kids for longer. Easy to say...

    Millwall ratings

It’s great that we can rotate out the second striker so that (in this case Waghorn) they can get a rest and stay sharp. Godden isn’t 100% sharp and I think is better coming off the bench after the opposition has been run ragged by VG and COH, he can find that bit of space and time Viktor and...

To be fair that must a great thing for a dad and lad to do; play together at a reasonably high level. I recall Baker being a proper family bloke and having some tragedy so this must be all the more special. Good thoughts to the Baker boys. Hope you have a great day.

The best team since prem relegation

That’s not to say that I don’t think O’Hare isn’t brilliant or Hamer for that matter. We’ve had some great players but the team never seemed to gel. The biggest difference for me is that if we concede our heads don’t drop like they used to and we fight till the end. That’s a great team.

David Thompson maybe. Gary McAllister might have been old but possibly up there.
