    Want To Worry SISU

Whilst not in the towns themselves, they are all within the same district's as the places they take their names from.

For anyone who thinks our natural level is division 3

Cant believe reading on here that some CCFC fans seem to think that our club is naturally a third division side. Am I in the minority in thinking this is crap? To me the stature of our club would suggest a top end championship side. Either way, that's just my opinion. The club has...

In praise of Waggot and Pressley

Are you saying then that between 1964 & 2012 we punched above our weight?

    Motivation poster.

You mean its jolly? I suppose your right with that. The atmosphere certainly looks better there than in Sixfields.

Cardoza - We Want City For As Long As Possible

No I mean profit from making the club attractive to buyers by having a large fanbase.

    Want To Worry SISU

IMO if they permanently base themselves outside of Coventry (somewhere near Coventry isn't good enough for me) then they are no longer the same CCFC that I grew up supporting. Therefore to me any new club would be the continuation of Coventry City FC. I agree that we are the same club as...

In praise of Waggot and Pressley

How exactly are we a third division club? Do you know anything about Coventry City or its history?

The only job its doing is making it even more unlikely that Sisu get their money back.

    Want To Worry SISU

Its a different name, different ltd company, different ground, different owners, different town! The only way it is the same club is the collective will of the fans. I'm not yet in favour of a new club, but to say it would be the same club is nonsense. The club is whatever the fans feel it...

    Want To Worry SISU

But in what way is the current CCFC the same club as Singers FC established in 1883? And also there's no need to make insulting remarks about the OP.

Just out of curiosity, what is good about having Sisu as owners? I would describe it more as SISU are 100% evil. ACL aren't 100% good

    Walsall make a small profit

Does the sale of the ground have some sort of conditions attached to it? I mean what is to stop someone buying the ground, evicting the club, and doing something else with it?

    Commercial Suicide

I just think the way were playing we will beat someone to the play offs. I can't see the chairman of that team excepting that. I can see a situation where they will be after compensation from the league.

    Commercial Suicide

All I said was with ffp money has to be in the form of donations, not loans. If you think any of us want to be in this situation (except Pete from Styvichall) then you really don't understand your fellow fans.

    Commercial Suicide

I just think if the league don't apply the rules fairly across all clubs then all will be looking for excuses as to why it shouldn't apply to them. Mk Dons could equally claim they haven't had a chance to build up a fan base yet so it shouldn't apply to them.

I'm actually in agreement with you on that. Acl should say to them we will match the terms currently in place with Ntfc. It would be very embarrassing for sisu to refuse that.

The question was should the council sell to sisu in order for Ccfc to be able to return to Coventry. That implies its the only option for the club to return, which we all know isn't.

Cardoza - We Want City For As Long As Possible

In fairness he got up my nose more when he started saying about as fans we should be grateful. At least he's admitted here he cares only for money and not the integrity of English football.
