Think it was more an option being triggered by QPR. Likely just for 12 months to command a fee. He would have always needed a compensation figure so doesn't change a huge amount in reality.

I completely trust the recruitment at the club at the minute but I wasn't 100% convinced by Binks as a defender on what I saw. Similar to what others have said on McNally I thought Binks was suited to a back three... Less so as one of two centre halves. Very comfortable on the ball and can play...
