I agree but not as frightening as the drop off between sTats / EMC and Rapha or the gap between Kitch and Perry …. The gap in central midfield is more narrow than either wing or CH at the minute it’s not a perfect world you can’t just keep adding and not selling players

Maybe Frank is happy to go with Grimes, Torp, Rudi, Eccles, Allen, Andrews and Lati ( at a push ) as midfield options if it means he can bring in another winger or a centre half ….

I think people are questioning whether he’s an upgrade on Thomas and Kitch, not the squad. On the few occasions I’ve watched him he would be an upgrade on Thomas.

The Woolf isn’t our primary CH target t Hughes. the club wanted both. Hughes to come straight in to the team, Woolf to provide competition … we may only get The Woolf but don’t expect him to come in and be a class above Thomas and Kitch.

Not at corners and free kicks he wasn’t … why what’s your point that Thomas and Kitch are not a threat from set pieces ??

We don’t know that Dovin improved as a keeper. We know he started off very nervously and got better as his confidence grew. Whether he was better than when we bought him we can’t judge.
