Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

Let’s phrase it differently and see if you still think the same: “Coventry Council Tax payers should contribute for repairs on something that a big business was responsible for. Either taxpayers pay more or local services must get cut” People often forget where the Council get their money.

I saw that - huge coincidences all round but stuck to original thoughts due to the historic injury / team news / player pay knowledge. I know Overson had kindly put in some facility but unless he’s there day to day not sure he would so quickly have known about each COVID test and who was not...

Same model that SISU had but to be fair to MA he’s less likely to switch tap off as quick as SISU did. What would SISU take? £40m (£20m players the rest goodwill / Ryton etc) What’s the Arena going to cost? £40m with some other liabilities added? Is the whole CCFC plus Arena package worth...

To be fair to you you’ve been quite accurate with your predictions to date, ignore the gibbons on here who try to knock you. I’m going to now check you syntax and work out who you are 🤣

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

TBF if managed and funded right it’s not bad business sense to have the Wasps here - extra income from advertising at stadium (greater number of eyeballs on each advert) etc. Personally - rather they went back to London but I could see why MA might want to keep them here.

Ironically you can still buy a Hummel Wasps shirt from Sports Direct for 59.99 What does MA know? (Last bit is satire)

If there is an extension (and it looks like there will be) it’ll be interesting to find out who is putting the money in to pay the costs while this is going on? Stewarding Police Ongoing insurance I guess by extension it’ll be CCFC and gate receipts.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

I wonder if SISU and Ashley are working together on this - it would make sense. MA would know that buying the stadium with SISU hostile is a big risk. It’s SISU’s best “out”. Use their leverage positions to make sure MA can get the stadium with the proviso that he then buys CCFC. Personally...

That sounds most likely and will probably avoid further potential SISU claim potential that would occur if we played at Walsall. They’ll have to show that some kind of deal is possible though, but with bidders like the NEC and Ashley at the table proof of funds and potential resolution is no...

And secured against the leasehold - checked the other day. Didn’t know amounts. My £80m absolute top line guess might be less laughable now.

Wasps going into admin & the impact on CCFC

As I’ve said. It’s unlikely it’ll be sold as a going concern before deadline. Next level is admin but the debt is secured via bonds and the lease has covenants which might give SISU legal angle. After that is liquidation and the question is if the lease reverts to CCC

I’m really not and you know it but I understand why you’ve said that. But I’m going to delete because some of the things he’s said might upset former teammates etc.

Use Google if you don’t understand, don’t be pompous. “The phrase “as an aside” means what you will say is indirectly related to the topic you are currently speaking about but still somewhat fits the context of your conversation. It can also indicate that you only intend what you will say for...

Just a few bullet points Wages costs 2021 financials 13.4m The club lost cash flow for a period not permanently so any claim if there was one would be offset by the income when match played. Not only that they will have received some of the income anyway. SO WE WILL GET THE SAME GATE RECEIPTS...

    Transfer Embargo?

Throwing out some alternative angles here: Googled CCFC wage bill and got two answers: 3.8m and 4.8m (gross) Edit: (People on here say £17m - maybe they are right) Out comes the fag packet, not all of the wage bill is players, some is for “normal” staff so free pay, NI thresholds etc...
