sisu: 1 week till we hear the truth

Here are the attendences for the first season at the Ricoh. Its clear the crowds at the start of the season were high due to new stadium syndrome. However these high crowds soon drop off after a bad run of form. Just one game in November and December saw a 20k plus crowd. Then the city went on a...

sisu: 1 week till we hear the truth

With the hooligan problem in the 80's, just after winning the cup we were averaging about 18k, (sounds pretty mediocre) yet this made us a very decently supported team compared to others at the time.

sisu: 1 week till we hear the truth

So if your saying attendance figures are a "joke", how did you determine what our "natural level" is? Just plucked a number out of the air did you?

Who says sisu wasn't informed of the decision?

So you don't think that the points deduction had any affect on the team whatsoever?

sisu: 1 week till we hear the truth

15k is a pretty good natural level for a team having its worst season for nearly 50 years isn't it? Does it still annoy you that Andy Thorne was able to draw in higher crowds than Eric Black?

It can also be stated that the team had no expectations on them at the start of the season therefore the deduction gave them a boost. We might not have had such a good start without the deduction.

No one cares Grendel. Give it up mate. League positions and success on the pitch might be what is important to you in supporting your team, for me there are more important things. I stand by my words in that ancient post. I would always sacrifice league position to get the club back to...

Not quite the lie you keep peddling that I want the team to be relegated though is it?

It would be unfortunate. Can't say it would matter to me as much as if it happened here.

That last line tells us everything we need to know about you. Hysterical for you, heartbreaking for most city fans that such a glorious event was happening outside our fair city.

    Club Statement

It's the likes of you that would want us to be relegated if you ask me. You would have loved to be able to blame acl for that this season. Don't try and pretend otherwise.

We still would have finished 9th. To suggest anything else is opinion not fact.

    Club Statement

Ah so we could have been in the dizzying heights of 9th in league 1 rather than 17th? Massive difference.

Who gives a fuck about the CVA? It hasn't affected the club in the slightest.

I didn't disagree that they had failed in their aims, just this comment from you "Voting against the CVA hoping sisu would leave was a mistake that would mean sacking the entire board and strategic management in any normal private business". If ACL was any normal private business then it would...

    Club Statement

Why would we be back? Also in pretty much every private business I've worked in you pursue creditors for what you are owed, even if they are your best customer. You don't just let them off with it. If you get a reputation for letting your customers mess you about over debts owed all your...

Why a mistake exactly? Rejecting the CVA will result in ACL receiving the same amount of money back as if they had accepted it.

    Football League deadline update

Well there is an argument for A isn't there? Evidence suggests that assets held by CCFC Ltd in 1995 were transferred to CCFC Holdings at some point. The fact that the timing of the "some point" was never established left questions to be answered about the CVA.

It was on here before, I think by PKWH that a charity is legally required to accept an offer of a CVA by the charity commission.
