    Priority is a new keeper

Nyland is notoriously weak on crosses & high balls, surely that's what we need to be looking at? Teams have done a job on our current 2 in that department.

    Priority is a new keeper

Someone of Iversen's ilk would definitely be preferable but it'd likely need to be a loan or a big fee which would rule us out. I'd be surprised if Preston don't try to take him again next year. I like Joe Bursik but not sure Stoke would want to loan to a team in same division either. I'd...

    Priority is a new keeper

I believe we made enquiries about Grant in January. I'd have been happy with that as a short term fix then but at 38 years old & only played 4 games in 4 years he's not one I'd be looking at to be first choice now. Not sure on the clamour for Ruddy either tbh. Is it just because he's a big...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

That's from back in January, not long after signing. Their season is finished & he's about to be released (again) by all accounts. Hardly pulled up trees in a woeful league - such a waste of talent.

    Jordon Thompson

It's wrong. Thompson played centre back in the first half & right back in the second.

Agreed. Not forgetting he got Boothroyd involved in the England setup purely because he is his pal rather than actually getting in a progressive, modern coach to work with the talent we're producing.

    Peterborough

Walker's scoring ratio in League One is identical to JCH's this season & last season was better than both JCH & Toney. We picked him up for under £1m & yet some of our fans berate him & pine for JCH... Go figure.

    Barnsley

I'd argue our recruitment model is already better than theirs. Big test this summer for everyone though with needing to look into alternative markets.

    Pearson signs 3 year contract

And to think the usual suspects were advocating swapping Robins for him 🤣

    Pearson signs 3 year contract

That's what makes it even weirder. They seem to think all the players are crap & Pearson is doing the right thing by publicly slagging them off every week. Well, they were plenty good enough last season & if he can't motivate them or instill any passion in them whatsoever when they are...

    Pearson signs 3 year contract

He wasn't even in charge for that Middlesbrough win either. He was appointed on 22nd Feb but only started on 24th. P 13 W 2 D 3 L 8 Mental.

We got our investment out of Bakayoko, he's played over 80 times for us & helped us get promoted. I'd be very surprised if a team is about to give up on a 22 year old, full International, when he's out on loan doing exactly what they want from him. Who's to say how much further he could...

He's still under contract for another year & they paid just under £1m for him. Why would they give that investment up for next to nothing?

They're not going to let him go for nothing.

Good player. His agent is hawking him around though so will no doubt go where the money is.

Depends on keeping the main 3 fit & what's the budget given how many other areas we need to strengthen. Definitely can't be doing with Biamou starting 20 games again.
