We're doing ok but lacking a bit of cutting edge

    Academy future?

Its a fair point but then what irritates me is when these other parties then pretend to care about the football club and pretend they have considered the interest of the football club in a bid to win support from the easily influenced ccfc fans.

    Academy future?

I agree, the club should have got a contract saying the Higgs can not make any changed to the site which endangers cat 2 status whilst the academy are their. Obviously after all that has gone now and with the short term nature of the current deal makes it become increasingly difficult to do such...

    Academy future?

And what if they can't tell you what you want to hear? How can the club guarantee long term cat 2 status when they have no control or indluence over what the higgs do? How can they tell us we have a long term future at cat 2 when the facility is being altered to no longer meet the criteria and...

    Academy future?

This is the first step in their plan to turf out CCFC academy to make room at the Higgs for Wasps http://www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/wasps-rfc-talks-redevelop-site-10503023

    No more season tickets

On the face of it looks to make football cheaper but with the Hull owner I think there is some sort of other angle we are missing at the moment

Goodnight Wasp Wankers, its been a fun read.

Still avoiding the question captain dart, exposed for the franchise loving idiot you are it seems. It's disgusting that you have expressed support and would encourage the relocation of a sports club in the pursuit of success and money.

Rightly so against it as well, its just sad that when its Wasps its described as great business and showing ambition.

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

That's not the point but I suspect you know that. Wasps have been praised on here for making a great business decision and for showing ambition by buying the Ricoh in this thread and its been suggested we should do something similar. Personally I don't think that is a stance that should be...

There was a petition started to keep Wasps in/around the London area. It got 3,000 signatures which isn't bad considering they only got 5,000 attendances at Adams Park. Seems like more lies and manipulation to make the Wasps move appear acceptable.

Sorry didn't mean you specifically but some people do, you replied to my post and my post was a response to Captain Dart on here, he was applauding Wasps for their move in this thread and also seemed to suggest we should do something similar.

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

You shouldn't applaud one club and hold them up as an example for others to follow and then chastise another clubs for doing the exact same thing which is what some people do. I recognise the Wasps and Northampton move were very different so I'm not trying to compare them, which is why I made...

Thats a fair enough point if true but I was sure they said they intended to move back to London a short while before the Ricoh move was announced.

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

In a recent post you've just applauded Wasps for making an ambitious move in moving 80 miles in the pursuit of success and financial gain and implied our owners should do something similar. Assume for a moment the FL rules would allow it to happen and also assume it would be successful in terms...

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

You're right it was an ambitious move by Wasps, made sense from a business sense but you seem to be applauding it as the way forward for SISU to follow which is wrong. If SISU told us we were buying Wembley for 10 million and we were going to sell it out every week and make tons of money in the...

Were they really that transparent though? I seem to remember they always claimed their attention was to move back into London from Adams Park. Then out of nowhere we hear they are interested in the Ricoh and the deal is done so quickly it was obvious discussions had been ongoing for some time.
  18. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

Exactly they could have survived, I just see it mentioned a lot that they moved here to survive or they would have died which isn't true. It was lie to justify the move.
  19. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

Of course Wasps could have survived had they stayed at Adams Park or moved to London as well let's not forget so not really a survival strategy to move to the Ricoh, it would just have meant they would have had to cut there budget accordingly to live within their means like all other clubs do...

    Does anybody.....

You're right we didnt lose them because of the competition from Wasps. However we may never win them back because of the competition from Wasps
