In The Wheel in Courthouse Green there is a picture of our team photo in 2007/08. Dowie was the manager. Obviously none of those players are here now but interestingly enough Danny Ireland, who has just left us, is in the team photo!
In response to earliest I have ever left a game - Everton at home 2001. We were three nil down after about 25 minutes. About 30-35 minutes have passed when my dad had enough and left and dragged me out with him!
If we do get promoted this season then he will be only under contract for a few months and will lose him for nothing.
We have offered him a new contract and he has turned it down, if he dosen't want to play for us in the long term then we might as well sell him and get some money to replace him.
Mexico88 - It would be extrememly bad business to pay money for a player and let his contract expire and for him leave for nothing.
We have to reduce costs anyway, so it makes a lot of sense to sell him for a good price with a year left on his contract.
