See, the backward passing didn't bother me so much. Just thought he didn't play as well as he has previously and this was against very, very poor opposition.

Yeah, maybe you're right. I just remember thinking at the time that he needed to be stronger. He just seemed a tad slower than normal to me.

Exactly. Rotherham were always going to have a lot more possession in the second half. The second half was dire, but we weren't. It was just a very dull affair. We hardly looked threatened at all

Yeah, agree with much of that

I didn't think anyone was poor tonight at all. Second half we just protected our lead and did what we needed to do.

I would say a few 8's for the first half (Eccles, Bidwell, Simms and Palmer) and 6.5's for everyone in the second. Just did what we needed to do to kill the game.

I just thought that only Palmer, Eccles, Bidwell and Simms were really good. The rest were decent enough, but didn't really have much to contend with really. A relatively easy night for many. I just see 8 as a top performance and I don't think we saw that many of them.

We should be stronger next season. We now have building bricks in place for next season. I think Simms and Wright will be fine. We do need a third striker though. Torp, Sheaf and Eccles are all very good standard Championship players and I think Thomas and Kitching will be stronger next season...

Definitely saw Kelly bundled off the ball twice, when he had possession.

We are out if it now aren't we. A huge 3 points off 6th with only 10 games to go. Season over and we should play the kids from here on in..🤪

I think we WERE worthy of a 5-0, because Rotherham were so bad.

Agree. I have to confess, I had written Tavares off. But that was a very fine finish tonight. Kelly was caught in possession at least twice in the second half. Don't think he was bad, but it wasn't one of his best.

A lot of those seem very high. We did okay and controlled the match, but Rotherham were dreadful. Don't think it warrants so many 8's.

Kelly made quite a few errors tonight unfortunately. Gave the ball away a couple of times and was caught in possession a few times too. Not one of his better games.

That was a fine finish from Tavares. Impressive actually and he looked more confident when he came on.

Yup, Torp not quite as involved and a lot quieter. It's been Palmer running the show.

Despite the 4-0, we have looked a little disjointed. Not complaining though, we've been clinical when we have got the chance. Thought Palmer was excellent. Some great through balls and causing them all sorts of trouble. Simms has his shooting boots on tonight. 3rd goal was a fab finish. Good...
