    Yeovil Attendance

Excuse me but you're the one who mentioned 7th tier football for £11 not me. I took your point on board and came back with my own about Leicester. I am still going Saturday and other matches please don't get me wrong but I agree 100% with the ferret. If he is right and it's predicted 9-10k fans...

Fisher and condescending. No you must have the wrong bloke.

    Yeovil Attendance

But as other posters have pointed out if you go to Leicester games some are the price for a premier league matches? My view is this doesn't make any sense when it's 15 miles up the road.

    Yeovil Attendance

That's the problem a lot of posters like me don't know what their plans are til a Saturday. That's not bad planning that's life. I would love to buy tickets in advance but mates let you down and work gets in the way or you find some extra money to pay for your ticket? Lots of variables. You seem...

Maybe the ST isn't the problem then but more the match day prices? I've found not many clubs with a walk up charge. Weird

    ticket prices

Bradford is a flat £299 for an adult ST anywhere and £20 flat fee for a match day ticket with NO walk up charge.

    ticket prices

To put it simply I think £22-27 is a bit too high for this league. We are only a West Midlands club not a southern club. The 2 pound charge for match day is stupid and doesn't work. Lessons need to be learned and I think they will so come April/may an it's ST time then it can be made to...

    ticket prices

For a season ticket is £230 for league 1 football unreasonable? That's £10 a game and emirates people to pay up front and we have a 32k stadium to take advantage of. Coventry is in the West Midlands not in London or down on the south coast. The highest price ticket of £27 on match day in...

All it really does it as you say is discourage walk ups. I could of bought a ticket 20 hours before for £2 less. Seems to be nonsensical to me.

    JPT fixture details released

Couldn't agree more with you. You just pay less for the same stuff. Ketchup 1.79 in tesco and £1 in poundland. 79p x say 30 items that's saving almost £24 and that's a match ticket on the day to the city.

It's got a primark so I like it.

So you need a under 16 to get in for £18 so actually cheapest is £22. So really it's 22-27 and that's not to suit my argument. Question. Why do the club put on £2 for walk ups? Makes no sense to me.

Think there has to be a compromise. I don't think anyone has said we are over priced. I just think people have said it's expensive when taking a family and if prices were lowered a touch you would see other benefits. It's a forum. It's all debatable.

    Yeovil Attendance

I heard we get some f&b also but can't remember where. Maybe someone could clarify. Surely they know they margins and reducing tickets to £15 a go and making a point of being the cheapest in the league this would attract both more home and away fans. More fans means more atmosphere and more...

    Yeovil Attendance

Yes I 100% agree. I was just quoting what some posters would put back. £24-£27 is a lot for a match ticket against yeovil on the day. And for most people that's for a family with food and drink, parking and others.

    Yeovil Attendance

Couldn't agree more with this last paragraph. Just everyone £10 in. As I've said before we have an unique opportunity in that we have a 32k stadium. We don't have a 10k stadium like most others and have to charge £20-25. We would benefit in so many ways should be reduce ticket prices. Look at...

I 100% agree ashdown. The argument against that is that it's the going rate £24 for league 1 and it's £22 if you buy in advance.
