Going to my first Cov game since before Sixfields

When your friends see how dire we are, at least they will realise things aren't as bad at Man U as the media and their plastic fans would have us believe!

    Highfield Road Memories: Goals

I remember another mad angle one against us. It was a last minute winner for Arsenal by Merson. I think he looped it over Oggy from close to the bye-line from outside of the righthand side of the box. I think he meant it. One of the best for us I remember was Willo's 35 yarder aginst Newcastle...

    The Givers and the Takers

Paul Telfer. Easy money for him for not doing a lot. Didn't even like football. Good at running around on the pitch pointing at things. Giver - Big Mo. Personally didn't rate him, but his heart was in it.

    cheap tickets now

Yep, that could work. Bring your Donny stub to the next game and you're in. Would boost the numbers a bit I would think.

    cheap tickets now

They won't do a cheap deal 4 days before the game when they have already been selling them at the usual price. Administrative nightmare having to refund those that have already purchased.

It's seems they remember the trouble our fans caused there in 1987 on the way back from Hillsborough http://www.thecfss.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=53804&st=20

    keeper

I was just about to make a similar point. Why is no-one questioning Oggy here? After Saturdays free kick against Port Vale, would it not seem reasonable to do some work with Burge regarding lining walls up etc. I think he had a decent game overall, and I like the fact the comes and catches...

Coventry City 'can't survive in League One' and have their priorities wrong

Most City fans don't bother with that. Hence we have so many references to Tommy Hutchinson !!

Message From Our Tony (not the mad one on here)

I can't believe any potential manager would take any notice of random comments made on a forum by random people. I know I am talking about our own little community, but what makes what we say valid and correct/factual? Why would someone read this forum and think "Those guys, whoever they are...

    Port Vale Gate?

I'd be surprised if we reach 10K. The current apathy isn't going to go away on the basis of a change of manager. When people stop going it takes a lot more than this to get them to go again. People won't go back until the team starts winning games. It's as simple as that.
