Whether it works or not, fair play to Roy. Took a risk with a view to the latter stages of the tournament

    Simon Gilbert Announcement

He's just being a twat because he doesn't like people on here challenging him or the telegraph.

    Potential

And if they did they would surely avoid us like the plague

    BPA Update

Ok so what you are arguing is for the next two years we should play where we have already agreed to play for the next 2 years.

    BPA Update

Yes that was agreed when we returned wasn't it, no one has been arguing we won't be at the Ricoh for the next two seasons. When I say it isn't an option I mean when our current deal expires it isn't an option to stay there. Which at the moment it isn't as Wasps have walked away from negotiations.

    BPA Update

Ricoh currently is not an option either, the deal is off the table as it stands.

    BPA Update

Could be done, but we'd probably need new owners which would help a lot so on that basis seems unlikely at the moment. Likeliest scenario is we are non league or not existing in 10 years time.

    BPA Update

Wasps have walked away from negotiations at the moment. As a club are we supposed to just do nothing and hope for a change of stance from Wasps and CCC or wait till SISU wise up with the legal action? The answer is obviously no, we have to now be taking progressive steps to secure the future of...

I'm gonna send out a group email to them all calling them all smelly wankers

Are we concentrating on the wrong agenda

In my mind this is how I imagine the negotiations for the Ricoh went between the club and Wasps

    Hope For Sky Blues Academy

Yes there would be challenges but it looks better prospect to me than a long term deal at the Ricoh. I'd also support the Butts move, if there is a genuine will from all sides then the problems could be overcome.

    Hope For Sky Blues Academy

The Butts could be done I'm pretty sure, wouldn't be without its challenges, there would be many of them to overcome. But a strong willing and desire from all sides involved and I'm sure it could be possible. Won't happen though if we just dismiss it as a non starter without giving it any...

    Hope For Sky Blues Academy

You won't find me arguing that another Northampton scenario is the way forward, short term you are right to a point in that we only have the Ricoh at this minute. If we want the club to be successful then the long term aim of every fan should be for us to have our own stadium, how do we do that...

    Hope For Sky Blues Academy

Maybe we should be pressing the people involved to make progress on that then, what we actually want. Instead of encouraging them to enter a deal we don't want but feel forced into.

    Hope For Sky Blues Academy

So do you actually want to be at the Ricoh or just consider it the lesser of two evils? All you've been doing lately is finding excuses as to why we should stay at the Ricoh and refuse to listen to anyone who tries to suggest an alternative.
  18. SkyBlue_Bear83

    Hope For Sky Blues Academy

From your posts it does across that you only want to stay at the Ricoh

    Simon Gilbert Announcement

You hate the club for a different reason then?

    Hope For Sky Blues Academy

Exactly, Wasps and CSF don't want to be seen publicly to be pushing the academy even though that is actually what they want.
