Pundits who use the phrase 'the likes of...'
eg They say United have got the likes of Rooney and Ibrahimovic up front, when in fact it is actually them and not players who are like them!
The facts are easy to identify. It's where the word 'FACT' appears at the end of the sentence, in order to end any debate.
That means everything else is made up. FACT.
I get annoyed with 'appeal the decision' which has crept in recently and is not correct English. It always was and still should be 'appeal against the decision'.
