    New hobbies thread

Archery. I'm hoping not to shoot any of the cats accidentally... Also, jogging. Just a few laps around the football field near me, because I've piled a good 2 stones on in about a year.

    Transfer Rumour Billy Gilmour

Oh what, he's not coming? Robins Out.

    Christian Eriksen

I think the cause has been identified as cardiomyopathy, which is a thickening of the tissue around the heart muscle, approximately. It has caused the premature deaths of a few footballers of note, Miklos Feher of Benfica, Antonio Puerta of Sevilla and Marc-Vivien Foe of course. So I understand...

Favourite players of the last 25 years?

David Thompson was immense in our first season after relegation from the Premiership. Some of his goals were just scandalous. Always like Thommo as a player, and I'd have liked to have seen him and Roland Nilsson down the right for us. Plenty of mentions for Steve Froggatt; on his day, yes...

I forgot Speedie, how dare I. What a player for us.

    Club Legends

Oh definitely, I loved Bugsy as well, he was Mr Dependable for well over a decade, and I'll never forget those two goals he scored in the 5-1 mauling of Liverpool in '92. Danny Thomas was before my spectating time, so I can't comment on him. I guess Nilsson falls into the category of a legendary...

    Club Legends

I'd agree with the consensus, regarding the obvious Legendary Sky Blues, however in my All-Star City XI there'd only be room for Roland Nilsson at right back. Being in my early 40's, and watching City at Highfield Road from the late 80's, he's the consummate right back I saw play for us...

    Max

The comparison was based on his ability to chip in with a few important goals. Not his goals/games ratio. Nor the level at which said goals were scored.

    Max

Max Biamou - All his Coventry City goals - YouTube Never prolific, but like Kevin Gallagher, Max seemed to chime in with a tidy goal when it was needed.

    Millwall (H) Saturday 8th May, 12:30pm

What an emphatic way to round off a satisfying 'adjustment' season in The Championship. Not sure why, but I get a twinge of sardonic joy whenever we beat Millwall...anyway, onwards and upwards, you Sky Blues.

    Match Thread Rotherham

Seriously squeaky-bum time...Rotherham's games in hand are a concern if they utilise them well, but here's hoping that fatigue and form mire any sniff of catching us up. Big, big, game against them. 2-0 City. PUSB

    Article about 2020/2021 home shirt

I loved last season's Home kit, the basis of that iconic '88 pattern was fantastic. This season's is passable, a solid 7/10 with the retro fade in it, reminiscent of both '92-'93 and '93 to'94's home shirts; a more complete round-the-back pattern would have been nice, however. Maybe something...

How 4 years have flown past...like a seagull with the squits... How is George Thomas doing at QPR, anyway?
