Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

Chelsea was flat, Crewe was good though. Leeds was also good, I remember one of their fans coming on here saying that we were the noisiest home fans he had encountered for a long time.

But that's not what were talking about here.

Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

In an ideal world I wouldn't have sisu anywhere near the Ricoh. Anyway, you haven't answered my question. Maton was quoting the law, and he is correct. So I don't see how you can disagree with him.

Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

That simply isn't true. The authorities can refuse to answer a question, they cannot respond to an foi request with a lie under any circumstances. No planning discussions have taken place.

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

You only care about Coventry City do you?

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

So what was your point then?

Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

They haven't got plans because they havent discussed anything with the relevant authorities. What they might have at best is an idea. Which frankly means nothing.

Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

All the council have done here is clarify the planning process, and that whilst Joy Seppala will base the future of the club based on spite, the council cannot involve spite in the planning process. Had Sisu actually done something in regards to a new stadium over the past 3 years then there...

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

Reading fans seem ok with that don't they?

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

And look where that got us. But hey ho, because Richardson started the destruction of our club that now means its fine for sisu to finish it off.

Coventry Council WILL support a new stadium...

So you disagree with him where he says this?: “If we made a perverse planning decision, just because we didn’t like the owners, they would appeal and they would win. “The decision would be reversed and we would get a hefty fine. You can’t refuse applications on the basis of who is applying.”

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

I'm not sure that is the case. That would open up a whole lot of legal loopholes.

Apart from CCFC, what else do SISU currently "invest" in ? Is it like an ISA ?

I suppose it all depends on who is lending them the money. I would wager that, in terms of the balance sheets, it is CCFC that is paying for the court cases, not sisu.

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

I don't know. But again, that's not a satisfactory answer to what I was asking.

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

See this is why it doesn't make sense to me, and I have yet to see someone come up with a satisfactory answer. Why do we need to build a build football ground to host these things? Why not just build a conference centre somewhere? What is the point of spending £30m on a football stadium when...

Didn't they have something to do with Little Chef at one point?

Waggott: Our Stadium Planning is Vital

Actually a patriotic city would be pleased with the fact that within a few years they could have the biggest rugby club in the country playing in their city. The how's and whys of how they got there would be irrelevant. I can appreciate why as a CCFC fan you would want Wasps to fail, but that...

New stadium - Okay, let's just suppose for a moment

Wasps are a Rugby team, Ccfc are a football team. To compare their financial models doesn't work. The most successful sports team in this city doesn't own its venue.
