I assume you mean employers, but I didn't say it would be a choice. A similar argument was used when compulsory inclusion to pension schemes was introduced. And with that the employers gets nothing in return. Paying for healthcare you get a healthier, more productive workforce.

I get there are potential problems, as employers would be less inclined to employ/retain an employee with chronic/severe health issues. But if we want to get the burden down then who else pays it. There would also be benefits to employers, as it should reduce sick days and potentially improve...

Re: point 1. It depends on what it is they're doing. Some of the stuff that has happened, especially regarding kids and JSB's, pretty much everyone knew immediately they were stupid and counter-productive things to do. That DK/commercial team didn't realise this indicates they don't understand...

It' not about policing thoughts. Hearing about an attack and thinking 'that could be x, or it could be y, is a natural response. However when you then go out and say/post x or y did the attack when actually nothing is yet known it stops being a thought. And when it is proved that x or y did...

Not how it works. It you want to claim a certain person or type of person committed a crime, then the burden of proof lies with you. You say this person said such and such, it's up to you to provide the proof they did. "Can't be arsed" to "waste time digging around" is not valid. Either prove...

I'm increasingly thinking having employers have to provide healthcare for their employees would be something to seriously look at.
