    Grealish Attacked

Classic case of ‘look before you leap’, and I’d have thought someone with him at the game would have at least dissuaded him from doing it. Really dumb thing to do, and the consequent death threats were a bit extreme to be honest. Nobody deserves to have their life ruined over one (albeit very...

Interesting, I didn’t think about that. I don’t have the most tactical brain though, in truth.

This is what I mean, unless he’s actually tried and failed in that role (which I don’t actually know if he has) then it could be worth trying it for a half. He’s got the same kind of tireless energy that COH has, and a greater attacking attributes. Just postulating, really.

    Former Sky Blue-Cobi Jones

His teams were notoriously lightweight here, weren’t they. Very little physical presence: Richardson, Darby, Williams (who really wasn’t that strong for such a big bloke) Salako, Jess, Burrows, all were lightweights. Presley was pretty physical, but then he was a disaster, and I never forget...

That’s always a temptation, considering how good Gus is getting forward, creating, moving, finding that killer pass, and his finishing is amongst the best in the team. Would Sheaf and Eccles work as DMF’s with Hamer in the ‘O’Hare’ role? Has MR ever tried that, anyone?

Makes sense, as I’ve only seen highlights Vs Wigan and gauged how he played via the (contrasting) opinions on here. 👍🏻

Match Thread ⚽️ Blackpool vs Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 18th Mar

Thing is, that matters very little, as Blackpool are fighting for their survival and they’ve just spanked QPR 6-1. They have a loud following, who are like the 12th man at the minute, and they probably won’t be a push over: and this kind of complacency from our fans is what usually ends in an...

    Former Sky Blue-Cobi Jones

My mate embarrassed himself yelling: ‘Oy oy Cobi!!’ at Jones, when he spotted him in Top Man, back in the day. Can’t remember if he was at the opening of the club shop in West Orchards or not, most of the squad was there. For me, he was a decent enough player, but he should have stayed in...

Seems we had the chances to score at least 3 (again), but the reluctance of MR to go with Walker AND make changes at critical points has contributed to this draw. Their goal was just bad luck really, as it was heading well wide. Gus was unlucky at the death, but who’s to say Walker wouldn’t have...

    The measurement of success

I vote for Greggs, Boosh, and King of Whatever to have lifetime achievers awards, sponsored by the forum, and handed over in person by Clive Eakin who instantly gets their names wrong. 👍🏻 There’s one for the showbiz thread. Measurement of success…in the grand scheme of things, all things...
